The staff, so nice and lovely.

I can't remember anything apart from the breakfast served and the fact that the receptionist accepted to change my room. The bad was not comfy, the toilet As so small that you have to be slim or skinny to take a shower in it. You can't move while having your shower and the shower water is not consistent and this made me have a bath shower experience. The WiFi network is so unstable that you'll do without it and use your phone's subscription. The walls aren't insulated and so your neighbor's noise will wake you up at 3 a.m and the doors bang hard. The money paid isn't worth it, really. This needs to be completely refurbished.

Location friendly staff comfortable bedding nice bathroom Nothing

The lack of diverse options of breakfast, which could be a little bit improved. Broken tap, causing water to leak and the hotel had to put a bunch of towels under the sink. Kind of untidy.

Location is very convenient. Earl's Court tube station is close and Hyde Park is a reasonable walk. Staff are courteous and helpful. The breakfast was nice. I didn't realize that there was no air conditioning. Probably my fault for missing that written somewhere. Was OK as weather wasn't too hot. Room had two beds, so slept 4 people fine, but was otherwise a little tight.

breakfast is simple but good, could do well if they add fruits and vegtables. the water in the shower is a bit week, there is warm water but not enough strength in the flow
-
Bed Bugs, did not stay. Only a partial refund. Disgusting, smelled bad

Location was great. Shower was hot and good water pressure breakfast selection. Bed was too bouncy, could feel every movement.

staff has hospitality mind and friendly. 24/7 front desk. good breakfast got some problem with lack of hot water pressure due to the hotel is not brand new, but they manage to sort it out which is pretty much better at the end.

The carpets are worn and dated, the furniture shows significant use, and the breakfast is quite simple with limited amenities. There were also visible mildew stains and a musty smell in the room. Additionally, the hotel doesn’t clearly state that a deposit is required for the A/C and TV remotes. So while they advertise air conditioning, you’ll need to budget extra if you want to use it during your stay.

This was my 5th time staying at Hotel Oliver. The location is excellent for tubes, busses, taxi and airport. I’ve enjoyed its old world charm, quirks and uniqueness in the past. While all those things still exist, this was most likely my last visit. The hotel does have a lift which is excellent if you are on an upper floor. It’s tiny but gets the job done. Location and price value are its true virtues. Air conditioned rooms are available. Wall mount fan is installed in non ac rooms. Close to food, laundry, shopping and hospital. Air Conditioned rooms are available only on the lower floors- downstairs, no elevator. WiFi is offered but not accessible in the rooms ( all 5 visits). You can sometimes get WiFi in the lounge/ tv room - however there are no open windows, fans or ac in the common areas of the hotel so in the summer that area is like a sauna. Same goes for the breakfast lounge. WiFi is connectable on the front deck at the picnic tables. Sadly this also the smoking area. Beds not at all comfortable. Front desk staff range in friendliness. Some very pleasant, some just so so and some downright hostile and rude.
