Location location location The room on the fifth floor. I believe that this room was specifically for clients who had dogs with them. It was a little worn, and decoration overall was not of a good standard. Unlike many high end hotels there was nothing supplied for a dog, even though you are being charged for their stay. Unfortunately we also experienced very poor quality towels in the bathroom, burnt, ripped and dirty. The manager did resolve, and was embarrassed. However they took on themselves to resolve by leaving a bottle of Prosecco in the room, as non drinkers it was a pointless gesture. I would have preferred to discuss. Which admittedly was my fault. Also it seemed as if we were the only people in the hotel? Empty dining room morning noon and night never saw anyone one else other than staff for two days. It was a ghost hotel? Overall for the cost it was very poor for what was available amenity wise. We will not return.

Room was comfortable and clean Location was great for Royal Albert Hall Staff were friendly and very helpful The occupancy was really low so there was very little atmosphere, especially in the bar at night and breakfast in the morning

Location is great for Albert Hall events and Hyde Park, room was a good size Cold water showers on two occasions. There are clearly issues with the hot water system but reception addressed this for me on check out which was appreciated. The hotel was also just about to close as it had been sold.

Great location - short walk to the Royal Albert Hall. Breakfast was included in the room rate which was a bonus. Stylish hotel, if a little stark but the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. Staff were polite. Room wasn't ready when we arrived (we were early so didn't expect it to be) but they phoned us when it was ready, which was earlier than the listed check-in time. The bedroom was pretty stark, not very cosy. There were signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathroom - e.g., bulbs not working, chips in the bath, cracked tiles etc. We couldn't turn off the TV without having to unplug it. Only one chair in the room and no mirror other than in the bathroom - and no full length mirror either which made getting ready for a black tie event a little awkward. Photo of the incoming US president in the foyer wasn't particularly appreciated - even if it was 'fake' and part of some exhibition - other pics on display would have been a less off-putting choice. Turn down service wasn't a patch on other hotels in the area.

Excellent location, clean rooms and great facilities. Some of the public areas in the hotel were becoming tired. But did not detract from our stay. Loved the turn down service. The staff were all amazing theoughout the hotel and I would like to send particular thanks to Fedros and Marcus in the bar who were second to none in their level of service. Food was good, the room was clean, and stylish (although not the one we booked our view of the courtyard was actually a view of a brick wall). We had such a good time that I tried to book again for next summer, and I was shocked to find that the day after we left the hotel is showing as permanently closed. A huge loss to tourists. The bathroom sink stopper stuck closed every-time it was used so that wasn’t great. There was a quite steep discretionary service charge that was added each day which I was so surprised by at the time I didn’t refuse and as I was hoping to return, I paid the charges.

This is my second stay in the Baglioni hotel. I like the location directly facing Kensington Garden. The breakfast is so good and more importantly the friendly and helpful staff of the hotel. Thank you to Elena at the reception and the hotel manager for understanding and for the complimentary upgrade to a nice and spacious suite The hotel is getting old and this was noticed in the suite I booked which was the courtyard suit which made me think of canceling my stay but I was upgraded and it was solved for two nights.

Great location right next to hyde park and the royal Albert hall. Friendly staff, comfy massive bed. Plenty of space. Decor seemed outdated, cheap and a bit bizarre on the floor we stayed. the waste & plugs on the sinks were all rusty and decayed. When we flushed the toilet you could hear it coming up the sink pipes. Bits of the room looked untidy and damaged. The breakfast wasn’t good value for money. Eggs Benedict was unpleasant and inedible. Smallest full English I’ve ever seen for £27 . The hotel didn’t look that impressive from the outside. Hotel staff asked if we enjoyed our stay, when we were honest they seemed unbothered and offered to get the manager but never did. Gave us their apologies and we left.

Ideal location room was lovely and the little extra touches chocolate and water and turn down was special Building work /roadworks ? made the room very noisy early in the morning and the breakfast was disappointing
