Great location for Paddington Station and value for money. Room on 2nd floor, steep stairs, no lift which was difficult with a heavy suitcase.

At £65 for a one night stay in the heart of Paddington, this was never going to be the Hilton, but I thought the Hotel Sophia offered brilliant value for money - clean room, comfortable bed, good shower. I would stay here again. Not a thing.

Great location next to Paddington Station, with grocery stores, restaurants, and pubs nearby. Comfortable bed and a pleasant stay overall. The bathroom faucets could use some maintenance as they tend to drip, but the shower worked fine.

No idea why this place would ever get bad reviews. 80 quid for 3 people in the centre of London. Bargain. Room was Clean, everything worked plus had all required amenities. What else do you need? Location is amazing, you roll out of bed and you’re at Paddington train station. Champions of England we know who we are.

Hotel Sophia is so close to Paddington Station, which was very important for me. I found this accommodation just what I needed. Although this location is on a very busy street I had no problem to sleep with the activities outside. The staff on check-in and check out we’re very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again thank you for holding my luggage at reception so I did not have to carry my suitcase upstairs. Location and I felt safe in this neighborhood

The extraordinary kindness of the staff. I was very late arriving, much later than I had originally said, for various reasons and Ashiq very kindly waited to let me into the hotel. I was and am extremely grateful to him. The room & bathroom were as always spotlessly clean. Nothing.

Brilliant location. Comfortable bed. No plug in sink. Taps dripped constantly and swivelled round when turning on and off. No shower gel. No place in bathroom to put toilet bag contents. Stairs very steep and narrow (no lift).
