The single room I had was tiny. There was renovation work going on. The lift to the top floor was also very small, it could only really hold one person with a case. Wasn't impressed to be offered turkey rasher bacon and chicken sausages for breakfast!

Very great location which is a minute away from the Kensington Gardens where you could walk in the mornings. Also 500 meters to shops like Zara, Uniqlo or food spots like Five Guys. Very friendly staff who were always willing to help me and special thanks to Mohamed who was always there in case of any need.

The location was fantastic and the staff was really helpful The hotel is being completely renovated therefore the whole Building was a mess. They ask you to take a picture of the IDs and they send them to a WhatsApp chat Overpriced for a 4* hotel. I have been more comfortable in some hostels. The curtains were defective, letting sunlight in.

Location was great being a close distance to two train stations and near Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Had air conditioning which was very nice. Bed was very comfortable and the TV was nice since you could sign in to streaming services. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but was definitely far from the worst I’ve had in a hotel. Staff was really nice! No electrical outlet in the bathroom. No staff available when I needed to check out, there was a sign that said they will be back within 30 minutes and had a number to call so I waited 15 minutes just incase (assuming the sign was up for a little bit before I got there) but when I called the number it said the person was unavailable

I did have an issue where staff unexpectedly came to my room to fix the curtain. It would be better in the future if staff were in uniform and it was communicated to the guest that they were coming to fix something. It made me really uncomfortable that strange men in street clothing were asking to come into my room 30 minutes after I had checked in.

The bed was comfortable Our lights didn’t work in the room, someone said they would look at it and they didn’t bother. Shower head kept falling off the wall, no water pressure, drain was blocked There was also open holes in the ground and on the roof, massive hazard.

Location Room, breakfast was terrible and expensive.

Be aware that the nearest tube station High st Kensington does not have a lift if you are lugging heavy suitcases

Didn’t tell us they were under construction and that there would be no AC. deserve at least a partial refund

Located close to the Albert Hall, (walking Distance) Good restaurants nearby. Quiet Street. Staff helpful and friendly. Ensuite bathroom a a little bit dated but adequate. Building works going on but did not bother us.

The location was superb- close to several Underground stations and very near to the park. Do not, under any circumstances, stay here during a heatwave! We were given a room on the top floor and there is no AC in the hotel currently. It was suffocatingly hot, and since the window only opened 6 inches, the heat felt claustrophobic. We didn’t get a wink of sleep and were actually soaking pillowcases in cold water to cool off throughout the night. It was absolutely miserable. When we arrived to drop our bags, the staff member looked confused as to what we were doing there. Not all of the luggage storage lockers were functional. The room doors are not soundproof so we could hear some very adult activities happening in the room down the hall. Dirty carpet, dated bathroom, dirty shower curtain.

Location is very good for The Royal Albert Hall. A pretty quiet area which was good. The room on the picture for the room showed a long window with a balcony. When I got in touch with hotel, I was told that they would try and give me that room if it was available. As the day came I got in touch again to confirm the room, told yes. The room was a tiny room, nothing like the picture of the room I booked. There was a balcony, around 2 foot high, rather it was the top of the house, so more of a parapet. windows opened a couple of inches, it was extremely hot when we were there. The window only opened half way along the window width and the fan circulated the hot air. On the way there Booking.com sent me details of prices if I booked the stay that day. It was £110 a night! As I had paid £377.82 for 2 nights, So over £150 difference for the weekend! If you have problems with small places then the lift will not be for you. You can just to say get 2 people in and the door will catch you as it closes, unless you both press yourself against the opposite, wall.

the room is clean and specious enough, clean and quiet. The location is wonderful close to Hyde Park and good public transportation. The staff is helpful and professional.

Breakfast was fresh and ready made. No room cleaning. Rooms looked more modern, bigger and brighter than on pictures.

Such an amazing hotel in a perfect location! The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and very friendly throughout my stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was also great value for money, especially considering how convenient the location was. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good location right next to Hyde Park, lots of places to eat nearby and the receptionist was friendly - when I arrived, the electrics didn't seem to be working, and she came to check and helped fix the problem (note that the front desk is often empty and the numbers advertised to call for someone no longer work). It's clear that the hotel has gone through a transition recently and construction work is ongoing. I sadly was in a room in need of a lot of work, very aged and poorly lit (the shower was pretty much dark with the curtain pulled). Not the cleanest, with a good deal of dust down the sides of the bed, and on the fan which blew dust over a lot of the room. The room was only made up one of the days, and there was still a dirty spoon. The shower curtain and shower were quite mouldy. Couldn't get the safe to work, though this wasn't a huge issue for me.

Great location. Kensington Gardens literally on your doorstep and short walk to the Tube. Also a very reasonable rate for this part of London. Nice, overall clean room. I was a little surprised when I was checking out that there is no one at reception until 9AM. I had a question about leaving my bags while I ran out to run some errands before my train departed. I would expect a bit better service. My only other critique is that the shower curtain could use replacing. Or better yet replace with a glass door. More hygienic.
