Nice staff and welcoming personnel. Great location, close to most of the sightseeing spots. And also good access with train and bus. Breakfast was good and restaurant area was clean and nice. cleaning services in room was good. Good possibility for refilling water in each floor. The bed in room was a two-single bed attached to each other, which one of them missed a wheel and dropped a bit, especially when we went into it. We asked for repair, or change, but only screwed them again to each other that fixed the issue temporary for one time. Ventilation in room was poor, and it couldn't cool down. It says working between 18-22 degrees, but even we put it on 18 degree, it was not cooling and the only solution was opening window in nights. We were a bit unsure to use elevator every day , as the door suddenly closed once, and hit the arm we were stepping inside.

Great location. Breakfast was ok. Need to get the lift fixed to the 7th floor. There’s a separate lift to 6th and then you need to lug the suitcase up to the 7th.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Mercure London Bankside. The hotel is very well located and well connected, which made it an excellent base for exploring London. Several attractions are within easy walking distance, including Borough Market, London Bridge, the Thames and the South Bank. Southwark and Blackfriars stations are also nearby, and there is a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel, which was especially convenient for getting around the city and reaching different attractions. Our room was comfortable and the hotel provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. One of the highlights was definitely the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very kind, attentive and helpful, always ready to assist with questions or anything we needed. The staff in the restaurant during breakfast also deserve a special mention. They were always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Candida, in particular, welcomed us warmly on several mornings and was always very kind and attentive, which was a lovely way to start the day and made our breakfast experience even more Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and particularly appreciated the convenient location, excellent transport connections, comfortable accommodation and genuinely attentive service. We felt very welcome throughout our stay and would happily recommend the Mercure London Bankside to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-connected hotel from which to explore London. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed it overall, but the variety could be improved. The buffet offered essentially the same selection every morning, particularly the typical English breakfast options. For guests staying several days, it would be nice to have a little more variety from day to day.

Overall, a very pleasant 5 days stay at the Mercure. The staff is super nice and friendly. The hotel check-in was a breeze. The location of the hotel is pretty good and accessible. Although the breakfast is pretty good and has a decent spread, but almost the same options for breakfast every day. So for guests staying longer, it becomes repetitive. The guest lift is too small, can barely fit 4 adults.
