Nice staff, comfortable and clean room equiped with ac, perfect when the weather was very hot. Excellent breakfast!

Great location near Barbican tube station. Comfy beds, nice facilities. Not quite clear how to check in based on booking.com photo, you have to check in across the road

Location for me was great. Staff were attentive. In general, I thought the Townhouse was below the quality of Montcalm hotels I've previously stayed at. The rooms looked a little tired and I got the impression they were not taken care of as much as other hotels I've stayed at. The same counts for the rest of the hotel. One thing was the really close proximity at breakfast - the quality of the breakfast was not great either. The door to the Townhouse didn't seem to secure. The room wasn't available until 3pm.

Good location and lovely staff. Rather tired and poorly maintained needs renovating. Breakfast area really tight and crowded if you hit it at the busiest time.

It was well decorated and clean It was so hot, the room had no air con on the hottest day in London of the year

Most friendly and helpful staff of all +300 Hotels I stayed in so far. What a nice crew.

Staff. They were more than excellent. The aircon kept breaking down. Light switches were a lottery as to which switch turned which light. Lots of minor attention to detail errors.

Staff at check in very warm and friendly. Generally room met standards. My son staying in other room very much enjoyed his room, breakfast and stay. Request for rooms to be close was not met and we appeared to be at other ends of hotel - we were only staying one night so not the end of the world but having booked a while ago, I was a little suprised we were placed so far apart having made the request! I would have appreciated the clock having the correct time (half hour out) which was confusing when making arrangements, and the TV needs update as currently said it was June 2023 even though I was staying in August 2026. Obviously this is only a small thing but attention to detail is appreciated. Towels were ok, very basic and stains underneath decorative bedcover which I needed to move as room was very hot - although I managed to cool with air conditioning unit. Generally room was fair/good for price. My son who travels less and staying in other room very much enjoyed his room and stay.

The location was perfect for our stay, which was for a wedding at the Barbican centre. There were a lot of staff and they were all excellent, extremely friendly and very helpful The room was very hot and the air conditioning didn’t work, they brought a fan to our room but that was not very effective. They did offer us a change of rooms but that was impossible for us to do as we had no time to pack up before the wedding

Breakfast was across the main street from where or room was.The breakfast was good when we eventually go served The hotel did not seem to have enough tables or seating for guests We waited in a queue for 30mins before getting into the dining room. Unfortunately the same long process was repeated every time we had to queue for breakfast.That was was the worst part of our short break. Queuing for breakfast

Very friendly staff, great room and location. The towels in the bathrooms had an unpleasant smell which made them feel unclean.
