Great location, comfortable rooms, good amenities, very clean. AC wasn’t actually working — just blowing warm air around. When we asked staff to fix it, they didn’t seem to have fixed anything. Lack of minibar/fridge in the room and a hard to close door to the bathroom was annoying.

Love that it is run on solar power and water conscious. Eco friendly choices are important to me. The rooms were a suitable size, bar and breakfast area was immaculate with great choices. Bed was less comfortable than I usually enjoy. Mattress felt thin and firm, firm is perfect but thin was a problem.

The room was well appointed and spacious with everything there that I expected and needed The bed wasn't 100% comfortable and seemed to be slightly sunken, and I didn't have any hot water

A very friendly and welcoming hotel. Staff very accommodating. We had to leave very early but staff still allowed us access to breakfast cold items and pastries which was very kind. A large range of breakfast options are fantastic and a great base for brick lane and Spitalfields and surrounding markets. Aldgate East station close by. Some surrounding areas can make you feel uneasy if walking late at night. But this is not the hotel fault but something to be aware of. This is true of many areas around the city.

Everything We loved the king size bed And the big shower The view to a parking place As I paid extra for having a window with a view Was expecting something more exciting

The hotel has a very interesting and stylish design. The location is excellent and very convenient, and everything around the hotel was clean. Overall, the property itself is nice and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We arrived after an overnight flight and were promised free early check-in at 2 PM. When we arrived, one staff member suddenly asked us to pay £10, although another manager had already confirmed it would be free. Eventually they agreed, but we still had to wait until around 3:40 PM for our room. We had booked one of the better room categories on the website, yet they initially offered us a room in the basement. The biggest problem was our final night: there was no hot water from around 11 PM until 10 AM the next morning, right up until check-out. We had no choice but to shower in cold water, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price. Also, be careful with breakfast if you don’t eat pork. The sausage I ate was not clearly labelled as pork. My stomach does not tolerate pork, and I became extremely sick afterwards, including vomiting at the airport and during my flight. Clear food labelling is very important, especially for people who avoid certain foods for dietary, medical or religious reasons. Also note that the hotel may charge around £30–£35 for early check-in, which I found surprising, especially since we have stayed at other London hotels where early check-in was provided free when available.

Great location; very close to Brick Lane. Breakfast was good. The decor in the rooms was a bit odd; my room had a massive photo of 3 women’s faces above the bed …not conducive to relaxing.

Great location, lovely decent size room

Located in a well connected point. Bus and underground stops are very close to the place. The Corner London mentions it's environmentally friendly. I got a free drink as I asked the staff not to clean my room one of the nights staying there. The beds weren't very comfortable. My family and I booked a room for three and I had to sleep on the sofa bed. I woke up with back pain both nights.

Price was cheap for the space of the room and not far from the tube. No one was manning reception most of the time and had to wait for ages to check in or get someone’s attention as no one was in sight. The room looks dated especially the bathroom where I can see mould around the sealant. The air conditioning was unusable. As soon as it is switched on it makes loud gargling noises so we couldn’t keep it on and the room felt warm given the summer weather, terrible to sleep in.
