The London EDITION is located in central London’s Fitzrovia district, with Oxford Street, Theatreland and Piccadilly Circus all within a 10-minute walk. Inside, there is a Michelin starred restaurant, 2 cocktail bars, a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi and free use of the on-site fitness center for all guests. With a view of the vibrant city, each room with attached bathroom at The London EDITION features a flat-screen TV and air-conditioning. An iPod docking station, bathrobes and a mini-bar are also provided. Each evening, the restaurant offers a contemporary British menu using fresh, British produce. Uniquely themed, the cocktail bars offer an extensive collection of spirits, with beers, wines and ciders also available. An a la carte breakfast is available for room only rates. 3 Tube stations can be reached within a 10-minute walk, providing easy access to all areas of London. The British Museum is a 15-minute walk away and Madame Tussauds London is 1.1 miles away. The windows in the room couldn’t be opened, so there was no way to get any fresh air, and the room felt stuffy. It was always very, very cold during breakfast, and the dining area didn’t feel cozy or comfortable.

The design and common areas are beautiful. That’s it. Serious maintenance and safety issues. The room door repeatedly got stuck and I needed staff to open it or let me out. Strong paint fumes made it impossible to sleep. Bathroom was not clean (hairs present). Extremely loud mechanical noise from the toilet and also from the shower, not disclosed at check-in. Staff later confirmed they were aware of these issues but still assigned the room. Completely unacceptable for the price.

We stayed ~8 months ago, and unfortunately, we encountered some issues that we were surprised to find unresolved during our recent visit. One of the two elevators was out of service 8 months ago during our previous stay, We were surprosed to see that the Same elevator is still not working, ~8 months later! This often resulted in long wait times, which was quite inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, on both of the mornings we stayed, our room was not cleaned at all. We had to call the Recepation and remind the staff to clean it which was rather disappointing. Given that the cost of staying is over $1000 a night, we did not expect this level of service. to point that they gave 50BP comp, which is nice, but not reflecting the cost or the expecation from this level of hotel.

Many things - I told them I am a Marriot Bonvoy Gold Elite status member and requested an early checkin. They could not accomodate. They room had a tiny windo and bathrooms made a loud sound when flushing or showering

The lobby and berners tavern is divine . Staff at front desk werent friendly , not very welcoming . The room was tiny and expensive not great value at all .

The location was very good. Everywhere was very dark including the restaurant. It was hard to read the menu. The lifts were very dark. Not enough bright lights in the room if needed.

The location and interior There is no soundproof and our room was in front of service rooms so you always hear slamming of doors at all times.
