Proximity to Paddington station and underground stations. The cleanliness and politeness of staff. Everything was great.

The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Hyde Park is also within walking distance, making it a very convenient place to stay and explore the city. Unfortunately, there were also some issues during our stay. The elevator did not go down to the basement, which was inconvenient. The housekeeping service was quite late, and even at 5 p.m. our room had not been properly prepared with fresh towels and new toiletries. Some staff members also seemed inattentive and did not always greet guests. Check-in was at 3 p.m., but even at 4 p.m. our room was still not ready, so we were given a different room instead.

The layout of the room was very good with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower easy to operate. The bathroom towels were a good size. The price was good as it was a basement room. However the noise from the machine just outside the window made my stay uncomfortable.

Excellent location if you're travelling to heathrow. Staff were not very approachable. No lift by our room and no assistance offered to take our bags up 2 flights of stairs. Door was very difficult to open/ lock. Bathroom was tiny, and the door didn't close which was uncomfortable.

Loved the location, clean and great facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Struggled with the doors, but staff helped.

Large room. High ceilings. Huge bed The carpet was a bit frayed at the end of the bed. No drinking water in the room
-
Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff that arranged a room change because we needed a desk in the room, and not all double rooms come with one. Not all double rooms are made equal. Super short power supply cable for water kettle, which is almost unusable for plugging in to the power outlet.

The room was small but nice The kettle and coffee machine were not plugged in as the wardrobe/desk unit blocked the plug sockets, so had to move it to bed side to use. Also people Smoking on the steps/entrance to hotel.

Literally the ONLY benefit of the property is the location to Paddington Station (it’s like a 2 min walk away) which does set you up super well to explore London. Also despite the whole accomodation being a NIGHTMARE the staff were friendly and were clearly trying their best to help even though they were working with no resources. ‼️DO NOT STAY HERE ‼️ This is the first negative review I’ve ever left for anything but I honestly feel that people need to be made aware. To start out, the ONLY positive of this accomodation is its location, which cannot be faulted. It is a stones throw away from Paddington Station and has great access to everywhere in London. However, that is the only thing this accomodation has to offer & I would recommend staying literally ANYWHERE else in this area. We were staying on the “third level” of one side of the building, which was actually up over four flights of stairs and each staircase gets more narrow and the stairs get so small that an adult persons foot cannot even fit on the stair to walk. There is no elevator on that side of the building. The stairs to level 3 then twist around to a corner so narrow that it honestly barely fits one person. The staircase also had damage so that the bannister was not even safe to hold on to and had genuinely been taped together! When we finally got into our room it was genuinely than a bathroom (and a small bathroom at that!). Between suitcases and two people (we had booked a double bed etc!!) there was genuinely no where to move and in order to access the toilet you had to climb across the bed and slide into the toilet area because the door couldn’t open past the bed ( side note the actual toilet was genuinely the smallest bathroom i’ve ever seen). The shower did not work properly and had no water pressure, plus the shower head would randomly almost fall off and spray water up and over the cubicle and into the toilet, soaking everything. Oh and did I mention the bathroom cubicle is SEE THROUGH! so if you are staying with a friend or even a partner, get ready to be immensely comfortable watching them shower and use the toilet. & the mini fridge was like a heater. But the overall kicker and the main reason I think this accomodation is not acceptable is the HEAT.

Location is second to none - just a few minutes' walk from Paddington station with links to the rest of London and further afield. The rooms are like new and the bed very comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Be aware that the fridge doesn't work.
