Handy for our evening out Poorly designed room which hadnt been properly serviced for new guests. Sink was in the bedroom so when I used the toilet I had to go back into the room to wash my hands. The tap was so close to the basin it was difficult to use. There was no soundproofing so the room was noisy all night as we were on a bus route. The TV didn't work, the safe didn't work, the phone was not plugged in, two hairwash but no shower gel A torn net curtain had been badly mended instead of being replaced. Tape used to cover a cracked surface in the bathroom. The sockets next to the bed were so close to the bedside table I couldn't use them. Why advertise that you offer breakfast and then send you across the road to a café? Screw in the wall where a picture should hang. Had to ask for tea as only one teabag in twin room.

Clean, good location and nice rooms. Didn’t have easy access to facilities like for making tea, also didn’t have access to bottles of water which is essential as part of my stay.

I liked the lady at reception the following day she was lovely but that's all. It's a nightmare to find to begin with. I had to wait at the reception desk for about half an hour. Eventually someone spoke to me on a ring bell type thing to say they were coming, god knows where from. Eventually a guy turned up and gave me a key. It's a very strange place that I wouldn't stay in again.

Another great stay at The Whitechapel - its a great location - no more than 10 mins from whitechapel or aldgate tubes. Really friendly team, clean rooms and lots of eating drinking places within walking distance too. Such great value too. Mention to Laureta who always remembers me and kindly kept hold of my charger which I left last time. Also should have said thanks to Cansu last time for her speedy check in experience Nothing really.
