Wardonia Hotel Kings Cross

Location (so close to Kings Cross). Staff is friendly. Have stayed here multiple times and can always drop luggage early and enjoy the day before check in. Love the windows (no air con) that fully open.

We had limited time in London. Property was right near train station which made everything easy. Tiny room and no air conditioning. But it was just right for our short stay.

Good bed Microscopic room. No A/C. Limited fans. (Which meant, with the windows open, the street light was right in your face.)

The stairs down to the basement were very steep and narrow not easy with a suitcase. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen, unable to turn around, when you use the toilet you have to have the shower door open ?

Even though I was told the double rooms meet the regulations they are very small Also they are not accepting liability for luggage and anyone can walk in and take the luggage Also some of the staff were quite egoistical. Also the room has a drain smell.

The location. It's across the street from Kings Cross. The double bed was surprisingly comfortable. It's a basic hotel and I thought the shower was a bit too small... and the bathroom smelled.

3-4 minute walk to a central metro station to access London and good walkable neighborhood to find a nice restaurant The room and bathroom are exceptionally small.

Great proximity to train station. It was located on a nice quiet street. Clean room and luggage storage while we waited to check in. Bottom floor room had a few sagging soft spots in the floor.

No Everything

It has no lift and a really tight staircase to get up luggages its a hassle

There is no lift and the stairs are very narrow, so not a good fit for people with walking disabilities.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes from King’s Cross station with easy access to trains, buses, and the underground. Very convenient for getting around London. Rooms were clean. The staff were not very friendly or helpful. Since the hotel has no elevator, we had to carry our luggage up three floors on our own. The rooms are much smaller than expected compared to the photos, so it can feel a bit tight if you come full of luggage.

Super quiet so I could catchup on sleep after a long flight. Close to Kings Cross and self contained unit with own bathroom

Absolutely nothing!

The price was right, and the room and bathroom were clean, and it was in the location we were after. I needed a bed in King's Cross, and we got one. That's the smallest room I've ever been in. There was no space to put anything, no space in the bathroom, no air conditioning. No elevator, very narrow and steep stairs. I guess if you're alone and have just a backpack this would be fine. For us it was too small and confined.

Small room but that was expected

The location is excellent so near to Kings Cross and linen was fresh and clean. Good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room too. Blackout curtains welcome. Very small room which is sad and dated. Ridiculously small Queen sized bed which I believe was listed as a double in the specification when we booked. Really warm at night with no fan. Noisy outside in the street too. Bathroom newly fitted, but very small and the shower goes hot, then cold probably due to use elsewhere in the hotel. I scalded my shoulder because of this. This needs sorting before someone really gets hurt. Staff business like, not particularly friendly. We only had 2 very small cases, you'd struggle with anything larger as there's nowhere to put them.

The room was very small, for big people it may be a problem.
