About The Queen Mary
If a "Stay aboard the Queen Mary for an experience unlike any other." is for you, board the Queen Mary Hotel for an experience unlike any other. Once a world-class ocean liner, the Queen Mary, now permanently stationed in Long Beach, offers a real glimpse into what transatlantic travel was like during the 30s, 40s and 50s. With its impressive history and tradition of excellence, the ship is more than just a place to rest one’s head. It’s also a place where you can take historic tours, see paranormal attractions, browse shops, relax on the spacious sun deck or enjoy fresh seafood at Chelsea Chowder House & Bar. Even in the rooms you’ll find an impressive history, rich tradition and old world elegance. The ship’s 346 original first-class staterooms and nine suites, adorned with rich wood paneling from all over the world, Art Deco built-ins and original artwork found on the ship during her heyday, all pay homage to a bygone era. Enjoy one of the last luxury ocean liners of its kind.

It was a once in lifetime experience, to be able to say we stayed on the Queen Mary.

Everything was fine aside from 3 major issues I had. 1. I was not aware of the festival that was being built so I couldn't park my car at the Queen Mary, rather I had to park my vehicle at the Queen Mary staff parking by the catalina express. 2. when I arrived we were directed to park in the catalina express parking even though we had mentioned twice that we were with the Queen Mary. the two attendees told us that we were fine and

The staff was great our room was clean the ship was nice and clean

Terrible service, we were not informed that there was a rave happening ahead of time and no parking will be available so have to walk 15 mins with children and luggage to wait 20-25 mins for a shuttle to take us 15 mins away. It was ridiculous rude staff, you also do not get climate control of your own room they control it so I don’t recommend this place at all to stay. Will never go back.

This stay was very unique for us as we have never stayed on a British ship or one of this historical significance. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining options were impressive and delicious. We highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed our dinner and drink with the see view. In our hotel room was included a tour, but we did not find any tour guide for it.

The ship was clean and the history was awesome!
-
Very unique stay for a decent price! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are slanted due to the banana shape of the boat so I did sleep with my head the foot of the bed but I guess that's part of the adventure!

I loved the history of the place and the view, great memory. What i didn't like was having to walk back and forth due to the event that was being prepared. But was cool seeing it an take place. So all in all great experience. I didn't experience no ghosts which was a plus as well lol I didn't know the history of the boat until after I paid for the suite, so I was almost gonna cancel but then I love history so I was like screw it, I just didn't tell my son until after we checked out lol 😅

The staff at the front desk were gracious and consistently helpful When our stay was extended and we made a room change the staff member offered options and was very attentive. The rooms are clean anf full of charming historical qurks. The restaurant staff were efficient and kind. Well done Quuen Mary Crew.

The room was too cold. The Chelsea restaurant was very disappointing. Our entree was not good.
-
Great property. Came at the working time with event going on.

For positives: We stayed for a music festival. The location was great for that. The staff in the bar while we waited for our room were a lot of fun.
