Lovely hotel For me being Disabled it was to far away but that’s nothing to do with the hotel.

Location was brilliant and room with sea view was amazing! The staff contradicted each other and when we went to use the pool we had to return to room to get towels, then get coins for lockers, only to find there was no family changing area as incorrectly briefed, and most lockers were broken and out of use. The entire hotel including spa facilities is very tired and for costs paid this should take place soonest!

Breakfast room, layout and views. Staff and service good too. Bar and dining area and views, nice staff service too. Shower plumbing was faulty (413) as it dripped constantly though the shower when used was fine. No noise though if the connecting door was closed! Extractor fan noise from kitchens below not great either.

Gorgeous views and lovely staff. The swimming pool was perfect, and the breakfast was great. The seating outside the bar was lovely and clean and the bar staff were very good. I didn't realise how up a cliff it was and it was a bit of a walk from the station. The lift was broken so I had to carry my bags up the stairs.

Room had a spectacular view. It was reasonably large, too which was good. We had a bath with shower over, and I prefer this arrangement, especially because it worked really well. Most of the reception staff were excellent as were most of the restaurant and bar staff, there were a couple of exceptions which I expressed to the manager. The location was totally perfect for us with our dog, as there is a dog friendly beach directly opposite. Parking was great too, just needed to get a permit from reception and we were all set. Roof beyond our terrace was really old, worn and a bit dirty, spoiled the view. The restaurant food in the evening was not the best we have had; we had pollock with an aloo gobi, it was all a bit over cooked and dry, the aloo was a kind of cake rather than a loose curry and it tasted lovely but was dry. The breakfast was pretty good, but not excellent.

Evening dinner food was excellent for a hotel It needs updating and there is a musty smell bit do not let this deter you as it is a lovely hotel.
