You get what you pay for.

The hotel was conveniently close to the highway, easy for a quick overnight stay before continuing my journey home. As a woman alone, It did not feel very safe, there were a lot of men hanging around. I felt uncomfortable with the looks and the shared facilities.

Location, it's a cheap hotel ♂️ Reception guy said nothing, just handed me a sheet of paper, and turned away, no explanation of where the room was or how the system worked

The bed was comfortable. The room I booked was unavailable by the time I arrived at the property, so I had to pay 10 euros more for a private one. The room smelled of tobacco.

Nothing Nothing toilets in the room and this wasn’t noted. It’s stated there is a shared bathroom on the second floor however, never said no bathroom in the room!!

I had a generally pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly. The hotel responds very quickly to reservations made via Booking. It’s a great place to rest for those driving long distances, and the parking gates closing for extra security is a big plus. Some bedrooms have shared bathrooms, which actually seems better than having showers and humidity inside the room during winter. I would like to share one small observation in a friendly and constructive way. The hotel mentions that not providing standard towels is an eco-friendly measure, but guests can buy a microfiber towel instead (currently €3). From an environmental point of view, microfiber towels (often manufactured in China) are made from plastic and release microplastics when washed, while a regular cotton towel reused and washed over time is usually a more sustainable option. I completely understand cost-saving or operational reasons, but presenting this as an ecological measure doesn’t seem entirely accurate. Overall, the place is great, and I hope this feedback is received in the friendly and respectful spirit in which it is written. This is not meant as destructive criticism, but as a constructive point to consider for the future. Thank you for having me — I look forward to booking this hotel again. The price and parking. The receptionist in the morning was very helpful as there was a technical issues. At the check-in the door was locked and no receptionist let us in, the check in machine was out of order. So after a bit of the struggle, one of the guests let us in to speak with the receptionist who arrived and just sat behind the desk. She was very rude for whatever reason although she was fluent in English as we can't speak French.
