The Beverly House by AGA - Beverly Hills

Front desk and staff were wonderful, property and room was clean and appeared to be recently upgraded. There was no in-room coffee (coffee at front desk) or microwave but there was a small refrigerator. Parking was first come first served and very very tight, just enough room to barely open your door... also was located in back alley that didn't feel super secure but we had no issues, just didn't leave anything valuable behind.

Was overall decent place. No in room microwave, coffee pot or phone to call front desk. Was free on site parking first come situation.

Do not stay here ….. the parking was non existent. When we finally parked and walked in the doors were rusted. The door to the alley in the back was wide open and anyone could come in. The courtyard was a piece of turf in a circle. The one resident had her door open and the room was full of alcohol. My children did not feel safe and we left.

This hotel was clean. It was just in a really spotty area not quite in Beverly Hills and the pictures are not like the real thing. However, the staff was pleasant and the property was clean. It’s just the surrounding area was questionable. I was afraid to park my car and there’s only enough parking for like 10 cars after that you have to park on the street.

my expectations were low being that it was an older property and read online that there was not an elevator and that is was minimal accommodations. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean, convenient and comfy my stay was. Everything worked very well, the bed and pillows were better than most higher end hotels, sheets and towels smelled fresh and were very soft. The cleaning staff tidied my room everyday and front desk staff was available and had coffee available round the clock. For the price I will definitely staff again.

Great location... but this is a motel. Great price for the area, but the room was a little dirty, poorly renovated, and the parking is only compact and first come first serve. Lots of "No Smoking" signs all over the property, yet it was obvious that someone smoked in the room previously.

Loved this little hotel. Everything from the aesthetic to the comfortable beds! It was clean and the staff were friendly! I will be staying her again!

Great location if you want to visit the Grove, Farmers Market or Melrose Ave. I expected more for the price. The rooms are recently remodeled, but it feels dated still and the exterior needs to be remodeled. I'd actually build something new on the site. Friendly staff but no amenities such as a gym or breakfast area.

The blinds were broken . The floor was so dirty our socks were actually black and we had a baby so it was impractical to put them on the floor to crawl. The shampoo holder broke off in the shower when we got in it was already all broken in the tub. Super noisy with other guest and homeless people walking in and out ?! It’s not secure at all and anyone can walk in. 1 star because there was parking but the parking spaces were so tight we were unable to open the doors anyway

Great location, friendly staff, however the bedding and room weren't very clean.

The floor was uneven in some areas, and the room only had blinds instead of curtains, which let in too much light and made it really uncomfortable to sleep.

Though the motel itself was decently renovated and things were clean and tidy, it was really difficult to get over the lingering "motel smell" and smell of smoke. It was truly the worst part of the stay. For the nightly cost (about $225/night) I expect at the very least a neutral smell. We found ourselves constantly trying to escape the room because of this.
