The location, the staff, the pool

Very nice hotel ?

Pool area is nice, breakfast is good. Room is big and comfortable. There is a whiteboard with all services provided, including e.g. currency exchange. However when I asked about possibility to exchange USD to LAK, the staff just stated "no" and was not helpful at all. The location is also a bit of a walk from e.g. night market. Maximum shower water temperature is not very warm.

Terrible breakfast. Advice: skip their breakfast and have soup at the restaurant next door.

Location was alright, within walking distance to most parts of the city. Location is OK, but noisy from street traffic, motorcycle repair shop outside our window, and annoying, incessantly crowing rooster next door. We stayed in room B5, in the back past the pool and upstairs to the left by the side street. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROOM. Room cleanliness was OK, but major downmarks for not cleaning “courtesy cups” in bathroom between guests. We discovered a cup in the bathroom on a self with coffee residue still in them (not stains - actual unwashed cup), and what appeared to be cigarette ashes on the outside and handle, which made us question the other cups that looked washed (maybe just rinsed?). Shower did not get very hot with on-demand water heater and hand-held shower handle wouldn’t stay in place during shower, requiring one hand to hold it the entire shower. If you are not careful, shower sprays outside shower and to the door. Breakfast buffet was lower quality than other hotels that we stayed at in Laos and Thailand. No yogurt, no milk or cream for coffee, drip? coffee was thick with fine coffee grounds and undrinkable. Nice presentation of watermelon and dragon fruit with no serving fork or tongs - had to use fingers or get fork from utensils for table. Room had mini-split AC that seemed to be on its last legs based on the sound it made when running. We were there in dry season/winter, so only needed it for moving air around. I don’t know if it would keep the room cool in hot season. If note, the smoke detector in the rooms are covered and sealed with red plastic, presumably making them non-functional. Laundry service was good, getting our clothes back the next evening after we turned them in in the morning (2 days). Count your items and maybe take a photo of the clothes so you can show photo of any missing items. I had one pair of men’s underwear go missing, but had a pair of women’s underwear/thong get mixed in. Because I had a photo, they were able to find my missing underwear after a day of searching.

Clean and nice looking hotel. Efficient staff and a nice breakfast. The location is a little away from the center, but that makes it quieter. They also have a nice little pool.

Excellent hotel! Wonderful pool. Large rooms. Friendly common area. Delicious breakfast. Perfect location - easy walk to the night market.

They cleaned the room everyday, and provided water bottles. Beds are on the hard side but comfortable on my opinion. Location is good (just 10 min walk to the night market) Facilities are a bit old, and need some renovation. Overall, I think you can find better quality/price in Luang Prabang. Also, do not do laundry with them. Expensive, and not good results.

Nice place, i guess reasonably priced. The maintenance staff were wonderful, made the effort to ensure room was clean every single day. The person in the reception in the mornings taking care of breakfast was cool too, was attentive and very respectful. Breakfast was reasonable - seasonal fruits, eggs, sausages and drinks, there is definitely room for improvement in the drinks department. In short mostly good staff and value for money. There was a heavier looking guy with a weird smile - he was taking care of the reception during the later part of the day, he kept trying to push tour packages/activities all the time, in a very very sneaky way. When i was asking him about the laundry facilities, he started talking about tour packages/activities without giving sufficient information about laundry. Kept repeatedly asking what my plans were for the day, which was none of his business (was not just small talk, was prying to find out what i was up to). He did seem creepy and like a con man, despite the fake plastered smile. Be careful and avoid him. Would have given a 9 rating if not for this person.

Had a pool that was handy because it was so hot outside, decent free breakfast. Bathroom floor flooded every time I took a shower

The building was renovated only on the outside, so I was a bit disapoined that the room was a little old. But the room was superclean, the cleanest I had in Laos. I wish I had stayed a little closer to the old town and Mekong.The pool had too hot water.

Breakfast was ok The fridge was as silent as B52. The ring of toilet seat was loose.

The room was clean and comfortable, service polite and breakfast ok. Staff are not native Lao so don't expect local knowledge, but you are in a good place for getting in and out of the city and for exploring the town. Good local eateries nearby. The pool is good for lengths if it's not busy. Cheap toilet roll is not a vote winner!

A very good hotel in a town center; very good swimming pool; good breakfast

Location was excellent, walk to everywhere. Pool was nice. Great breakfast, basic but all you needed Building work happening for the 3 days we where there. The rate had dropped by US 20 per room per night when we got there, but no refund offered.
