Great breakfast. Lovely quiet room. Great location with short walk to the beach and shops.

Beautiful building and lovely room. Had a single that looked over the main front entrance. Spotless clean- everything you needed for your stay. Honesty bar and lounge to sit in as well as an outside area for up to 6 people to sit. Quiet( apart from the seagulls). Beautiful breakfast and lovely hosts and staff.

Good breakfast Cute quirky cottage feel Friendly staff when you saw them Noisy seagulls roosting on flat roof opposite were noisy all night. Hot in room so had window open so couldn't sleep. Also road noise at front. Lacking in toiletries. shampoo bottle already small and half filled so ran out after one wash and wasn't replaced. Black sealant in shower and sink, shower ran hot and cold and didn't drain quickly enough so you were constantly worried about flooding the bathroom.

Warm attentive staff and cosy snug studio - Lovely breakfast ! Minor point, but intermittent Wifi in the room which got better as the weekend evolved

Breakfast was very good, lots of it and very tasty! Very friendly and helpful staff Our room was ok, the decor was tired and in need of a good spring clean!

Lovely historic building with bags of character. Friendly accommodating staff. View from window was great and beautiful walk down through the parks to the sea front. Great breakfast and drinks available to buy to sit in garden and enjoy in the evening. Bit of a walk up hill from the town but good for your fitness. Noisy seagulls in the morning but that is the price you pay for being at the seaside.

Staff were excellent, enjoyed the covered area in the garden, good breakfast, a very friendly environment The hill from the seafront to the property was hard going, typical of the geography of the town.

Comfortable slightly old fashioned feeling- calm garden oasis. Slightly worried about proximity to road but surprisingly quiet. Well could do with some refreshments of carpets etc

The hotel and room a little tired, no towels in room on arrival but we found some. Ensuite shower and sink both very slowly draining plugs and sealant around shower tray old and a bit mouldy. Overall room ok and picked for location. Breakfast was good As above

Everything Nothing

Very comfortable property, obviously well loved by the person who owns it. Everything you could possibly need was there. Loved the gift pack, and the pint of milk in the fridge was a really welcome touch. Kids loved the attic room. Nothing!
