The best location in Madison. A great hotel. Very clean. Very comfortable. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. Always my first choice when I go to Madison
-
Great stay, though beware the need for valet parking ($30/night, or you need to locate another parking option which is going to be far less easy or convient in terms od if you have more than a carry-on to move around) but very nice staff and space. Beds were quite firm and did not live up to the quality of the rest of the details, but overall enjoyable experience in a great location right outside the Ccapitol with many walkable amenities and food/drink options.

An awesome place to stay.

Breakfast was delicious as I enjoyed Eggs Benedict with Greens and my husband ate Chicken & Waffles. We choose to eat outside with a beautiful view of the State Capital. Prices were very reasonable. We also went to the Farmer’s Market across the street on Saturday morning and used the pool.

Friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful rooms

Every employee greeted us throughout the hotel every time we walked by, super friendly. The sitting area around the pool was spacious and super comfortable for the adults to hang while watching the older children in the pool. Great spot to stay in Madison near campus and right by the capitol.

The information we read about the food offered in The Post restaurant/bar was that they accommodated for dietary needs/restrictions. However, when we asked the staff directly, they informed us that they don't really offer much in the line of gluten-free options, much less safe handling gluten-free items so as to prevent cross-contact. Substitutions were not offered for wheat bread/brioche/wheat tortillas. Also, no GF beer options .... especially when the renowned Alt Brewery is right in Madison!

Beautiful, classy modern version of an art deco hotel. Extremely calming and peaceful and quiet in a very nice hotel room. Very friendly staff. Close proximity to some very good cafes and restaurants close the hotel and the Capitol square. The only issue is that parking on the hotel's property is by valet only and costs $30 a day or $4/hour. Nearby parking garages are expensive and on-street metered parking is generally limited to one to two hours. Other than the parking issues, I highly recommend this hotel.

Parking was easy to get to. A suprise early check-in fee wasn’t very cool. We got an email for our pre-registration, which we completed ahead of time, and it gave us the option to check in at 3pm, which is when we arrived. We had no time to discuss due to an event we needed to be at by 4pm, and needed to check in, and was not disclosed when we chose the 3pm pre registration. We were also told it was $45 by the front desk, but was charged $60 on my account. So thats also not cool.

Exceptional

I loved the fresh water and coffee everyday, fruit and muffins. The only suggestion I have is to quip the gym with free weights and another bike, as the two that are there were often in use. Excellent staff and BEAUTIFUL hotel. Keep it up! We will be back!!!
