The place was very close to El Prado and centrally located. There were plenty of places to eat and a famous torronero was not far as well. The room was spacious, clean and a bit stylish too. The bathroom was just the right size for me. The staff were very nice and friendly. The mayordoma/Mgr. was very nice too and very welcoming. For the price I paid, I think I found a gem in the city. (definitely commendable and I see myself staying there again should I return to Madrid. I can't think of one. :)

The room initially had a smell of cigarette smoke. It went away after a while or we just got used to it. The bathroom had a musty smell and after shower it turned into a smell almost like sewer smell.

Pillows could have been more comfortable a bit hard.

Very good location. Great staff Room was pretty small for 3 people

A plenty comfortable room in a great location, just across from a nice wine and tapas restaurant and a short walk from Atocha station. The staff were kind and helpful and spoke good English. A very good place for a solo traveler like myself. Heavy suite doors tend to get slammed when other guests return late at night. Fortunately, I'm a heavy sleeper, but I'm afraid I could never stay there with my wife.

Great location and clean facilities with very newly renovated bathroom

The location is amazing, steps from the cathedral. The interior has a lot of character, decorated with antique furniture and paintings. Our favorite was the rooftop pool where you have an up close view of the cathedral tower and the rooftops of beautiful Seville. There was really nothing not to like!

Staff were very helpful. They provided tools to help open our damaged luggage. Hard to open one of the front doors but we figured it out.

Room was very clean, comfortable bed, good shower I'm not sure whether I didn't read the information about how to get into the Hostel, but that was a little unsettling to find the door locked. We figured it out, but it took a little time. I wish there was an electric kettle in the room.

We didnt actually end up staying here, though, because we were traveling with a person in a wheelchair and the bathroom was too small to fit a (small manual) wheelchair. But when we realized this (within a few minutes), the staff were vwry helpful and considerate. We tried other rooms, but all the bathrooms were too small. Again - this story is to highlight how wonderful the staff was. They not only refunded the money, but they let my son and my nephew stay in the room while I went out and tried to find other accommodations with rooms that would fit the chair. We did find another place to stay, and while this hostel cannot accommodate people restricted fully to a wheelchair, I still recommend it to any other travelers looking for a delightfully cute building and the friendliest staff. Bathrooms are very small, but only an issue if you are confined to a wheelchair.

Amazing location. It is close to absolutely everything. During my stay I didn’t use any taxi or even subway. Very friendly stuff and clean rooms.

Location and cleanliness

The location is perfect right across the street from the Prado Museum, and there is a bus stop at the corner. A few steps away. I think for the price. The minimum they could have had was a teapot, and a small table available for our use. We only had two glasses, and we were three people, and of course, no cups. Available for.
