The bed itself was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom served its function. The TV was in an okay space considering the size of the room. The remote did not work to turn on the TV it only worked to change from one channel to another. The reception and cleaning staff were professional, respectful, and friendly. First impressions are everything. While the location was fine (close to museums), I did not feel safe walking on Calle de Gobernador. There were three drunk men a block away from the hotel. While this is not the staff's fault, it just did not help. Also, it was shameful that I had to pay to use the safety deposit box in the room; I have never stayed at a hotel that required payment. In addition, I was under the impression that the rooms would have a mini-refrigerator for me to store my water or yogurt. There wasn't any. It was strange that the staff required I leave behind my room key every time I had to leave the premise. I felt I was at a cheap motel. WI-FI, was subpar. When I connected to Wi-Fi, it stated it was not a safe connection.
