Close to everything and the staff were friendly

The bathroom was very small and uncomfortable, the door literally wouldn't close and it was a bit uncomfortable. There was a terrible fishy smell in the hallways.

Very comfortable beds, spacious and pretty bathrooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to Metro line. There is a lot street noise at night.

Cleaniness could be improved. There is no possibility to store luggage free of charge - the hotel offers only paid lockers that cost 2 euros. Moreover, the staff doesn't inform you properly about that cost - they just mention that you'll need a 2-euro coin to use the locker, but not that you won't be able to retrieve it after the locker is opened. That is quite a nasty rip-off in my opinion: despite insignificant amount, it creates a very bad impression.

Nothing just it is close to the center of Madrid doesn’t mean it is a nice place to stay. My room: close to the tapas restaurants, not just the noise until 6 am but we can still smell garlic and shrimp on our clothes Staff: -100/100 of friendliness and hospitality (worse than everything mentioned above) we tried to messaged before arrival to ask about the bag storage, no one answered and turned out we need to used their paid lockers. If we know this faster we would change the place. Plus, when we forgot the charger in the room after check-out, the receptionist refused to check even with the room cleaner, telling us to wait and talk directly with the cleaner next morning. NOTHING.

The beds were not as comfy.

I like the hotel very accessible to many areas around. You are close to Sol plaza and gran via. The room has frigobar and you can store water and things for breakfast if you want to save some money. In Spain a breakfast can cost 20 euros or more per person if you land on a fancy place. Most restaurants open late. A lot of work on the street and dust outside so you cannot open the windows too much except at night when workers are not there. In the morning is noise because of municipality Maintenace of the streets and changing public sewer. All the staff are very attentive but only one with glasses seemed very nice and helpful talking. They are strict with check out at 11 nd do not consider extra time that I am used to receive with booking, so I was not satisfied with it.

We stayed with my friend for just one night, but made memories forever. Excellent place, great location, very friendly service and very clean. We were able to check-in earlier and the stuff was there 24/7, which made us feel safe.

Lack of vending machines and options for grab and go.
