I liked the room power system, wall/computer electricity still available after removing the card, while lights turn off. No free facility to wash clothes inside the hotel. Need to go nearby, very close but somewhat expensive.

I got the sense that a certain clientele use this hotel (eg those who only need a room for a few hours). It was pretty old and grimmy. It did suit our needs as it was close to the main train station and we had an early flight so were looking for something cheap but it was really quite poor quality which I guess is what you get for that price in Madrid. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and I was glad I wasn't travelling alone. As above.

The resepttion lady was ok and helpful. The room was outdated and felt old and a bit tacky. There was a terrible noise coming from above and elsewhere. There was also a lot of strange load people in other rooms and in the corridor, making it hard to relax and sleep. The area felt a bit unsafe and strange.

Location is a walk from my business meeting location. This is the only reason for my selection The staff was helping. For me, the breakfast menu was very limited I expect a water bottle, at least on the first day of my check-in. Seems it is normal in the EU not to provide plastic bottles. However, many Hotels provide glass water bottles and provisions to refill ( Still or sparkling)
