The communication to get into the room was perfect, didn't experience any issues with this at all. The room had all the amenities needed for a great stay. The bed was comfortable and the location of the apartments was perfect and we always felt safe. Wish the shower was a little larger, but again not really an issue.

Not clean. There was crumbs in the pull out beds and it was clear it hasn’t been cleaned properly.

De parte de expedia deberían de enviar correo o información de todo lo que conlleva previamente. Ya que uno piensa que es como un hotel tradicional con personal que atiende en el lobby

Ev konforunda 4 kişilik aile için mükemmel. Giriş ve çıkış çok teknolojik ama çok kolay. Şehrin göbeğinde her yere yürüyerek gidebiliyorsun.

The room was well equipped with modern decor. It was the perfect way to end our Camino! The lockers were super convenient when we arrived ahead of checkin time. Lack of staff on site but when we needed something, they were there.

Endroit moderne et très propre… très sombre la nuit et fréquenté par des itinérants.. Mais en plein coeur de Madrid… bon endroit pour couple et personnel drill.

Our stay in Madrid whilst short we managed to see everything we wanted to see and we were able to walk to most areas. What a great apartment in an amazing location. Lots to see and do around the area. The apartment itself lacked for nothing. It was clean and modern and really well laid ou. We had a wonderful stay in Madrid.

Nicely decorated apartment that would have been comfortable if the air conditioner had worked and we didn't have to depart due to my mother's high blood pressure The staff did not provide any assistance with the air conditioner, even though I explained to them that I was travelling with my mother who is 75 years old and she has high blood pressure. I understand that there was a heatwave in Madrid on the day in question and that air conditioners can struggle during such weather, however, in this case, it was not only a question of comfort. My mother's high blood pressure made this a serious medical concern as her heart rate was significantly elevated due to the heat in the apartment as the inside temperature remained well above 26C. I know that Sonder's may not have receptions in all of their properties but I expected there to be somebody we can reach 24/7 as advertised. When I wrote within the Sonder app in the afternoon after check-in about the air conditioner not functioning , I was told to wait for the air conditioner to start cooling. When this did not work by the evening, I wrote to them again and, despite explaining to them that there was a senior with medical issues, I was told that a) I don't understand air conditioning in Europe and b) nothing could be done as everybody was off work already. I understand if the hotel is fully booked but nobody came to provide a fan or assist. They simply stopped responding to me & told me to put up with it. I went through Booking.com who thankfully did try to assist and I had to contact the city to find out that I have an option to file an official complaint due to the duty of care expected when there is a medical concern. For the safety of my mother, we had no choice but to check into another hotel so that she would not collapse from the heat. The next day (which was cool as the heatwave had ended), Sonder claimed we had fabricated the issue despite the proof in the chat. I kept all documentation of our conversation for the Madrid complaint which is likely the only reason why they ultimately came to a resolution with us.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. Tons of space as well. Staff was responsive to all of our requests, and the location was great. Plenty of places in walking distance and very close to two metro stops. I also highly recommend the service on the website for train station/airport transfers.

The team even went above and beyond when we requested an apartment upgrade on our way back from vacation; they responded quickly, were incredibly flexible, and did everything they could to accommodate our needs. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including extra bedding and towels, a fully functional kitchen with a washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher—truly a home away from home. This was without a doubt one of the best serviced apartments we’ve ever stayed in, meeting the high standards of a Marriott Bonvoy property. We highly recommend Sonder Malasaña and would absolutely stay here again.
