Reviews
-
Great value, extremely comfortable, warm staff and centrally located.
-
Convenient. Able to accommodate my family on very short notice. The location was close to all the vents we had in Madrid. The staff was very curious and helpful. The place was fine and met our expectations for the price. One suggestion is for the lobby and hotel entrance to be freshened up a little.
-
everything the fact that I had to set up a profile and agree to marketing for wifi
-
Refused to check us in having electronic copies of IDs, demanding physical documents, even though their policy says a photocopy of a document and a credit card are the only requirements. The reservation was fully paid. Avoid.
-
The downside: very noisy outside, trucks picking up trash starting around midnight and won’t stop till 2 am. Busy location
-
Great breakfast. Very attentive and friendly stuff. Nice value for money A/c controlled from central base. The temperature cannot be changed from the room even though it has a thermostat

near the city center The staff was extremely rude and barely spoke English, except for one gentleman who managed the breakfast hall. In particular, a woman at reception (unfortunately I do not know her name) was consistently unfriendly and unprofessional towards us. Examples: 1. When we arrived for check-in in the morning, we politely asked to leave our luggage until the afternoon. She snorted and gave us a hostile look. 2. Every time we returned to the hotel, she would glare at us and never return our greeting. 3. During check-out, she treated us very poorly and kept snorting until we left. 4. On 1–2 occasions at breakfast, she would look at us with a colleague and laugh. I have no idea what her issues might be, but her behavior was completely unacceptable for someone working in hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel, and I strongly suggest the management review this woman’s conduct.

Clean and bright, very spacious. Stuff is super friendly. Metro is right the next turn. Nothing, everything was very good

A comfortable and reasonably priced hotel located on a relatively quiet side street in the heart of Malasana, very convenient to shops, transportation and restaurants. The staff goes out of its way to be friendly and helpful and make sure you're enjoying your stay. Unfortunately there was construction a few doors down from the hotel that required us to navigate sidewalks with a lot of building debris, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Location is close to 3 Metro stations in a 5-minute walk. The breakfast was delicious. Problems at checkout to issue an invoice for the company address. Finally solved.

The Hotel is located near Malasana and a 15 min walk away Gran Via. We walked everywhere! Also I have to mention the very clean facilities as well as the super nice staff members, who were at the lobby 24 hours of the day! At nights it could get a little loud depending on the day.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, close to Bilbao train station, restaurants and shops nearby. Bed and floor is not clean. Hairs on pillow and floor. Average breakfast. Somewhat noisy at night.

Pro - A few steps to metro station, very convenient, also nearby bus stops. Best location for using public transportation. Complementary snack (donuts, croissant) and drinking water available at the lobby. Nice decoration at lobby, and elevator to lobby (lobby is one floor upper than ground floor), no issue when travelling with luggage). Room is clean, not big but sufficient and functional. Con - No car parking at the site, even drop-off or pick-up in front of hotel, you should be there waiting for taxi (in case of advance booking for pick-up), as there is no parking for waiting. No amenity (such as toothbrush, shaving kits, no complementary drinking water, no coffee, no kettle, no fridge) supplied in the room. Air-con is not for cooling, rather heating. If the weather outside is not cool, you just open window (sometime it was not cool enough, i think). once window is opened at night, the street below with pubs/restaurant could be noisy sometime (I myself fall asleep not so difficult, so no issue for me).
