It’s a really good location, nearby Gran Vía and you can go walking to many turistic places, but there’s also a subway station nearby. Calm and safe neighborhood. The apartament is spacious, well-lit, and confortable. It doesnt have air condicioning and the fan does not cool the room. Also, there is no blind in the room, so you wake up when the sun rises. The elevator only go to the 6th floor (the apartament was in the 7th floor), what was not a problem for us, but it could be for someone who struggles to climb stairs.

The location was perfect! Close to metro stations and main touristic points. The bed was comfortable and the shared bathrooms were cleaned every day. The value for money is the best possible in this sense. The staff was amazing and exceptionally fast in replying on WhatsApp - I’d like to mention Miguel specifically since he was so supportive on helping us once there was a change of plan regarding our train ticket being canceled. His fast support was essencial in not ruining our trip, but overall the staff was very attentive and I absolutely recommend Live It Madrid. It’s a small point and the only complaint I have is that the code to enter the room was not updated once we had to extend our stay, which in two different situations we had to contact the staff to update it and let us enter the bedroom. Considering how fast the staff was, it didn’t become much of a problem, but it is a recommendation for future stays to always ask to have the code extended together with your new check out time.

The room was roomy and comfortable, in spite of the heat. The street noise, mostly people, a little loud, and the bathrooms and kitchen were both extremely clean, including the friidge. Exiting the building was diffficult, I like and prefer to take the stairs.

I arrived at the accommodation late, after 11 PM. I received a digital key to access my room, but the email contained several keys, and it wasn’t very clear where I was supposed to go, which doors to use, or how to enter. Additionally, on the floor where I stayed, the kitchen and bathroom were not clearly marked, so I ended up wandering around in the dark trying to find them. Parts of the flooring were missing, and there was trash in front of one of the rooms. There was no one around, and the atmosphere felt quite unsettling. The main issue occurred around 3:30 AM, when someone started banging aggressively on the door. I initially thought someone was trying to break into my room, which was very frightening. It turned out that someone was trying to force open a corridor door inside the building, leading to the rooms. This could have been anyone from the street, as the main entrance to the building was unlocked. The loud banging and aggressive attempts lasted for about 20 minutes before it finally stopped. I couldn’t wait for morning so I could leave. Perhaps my impression was influenced by the late check-in, or this may have been an isolated incident, but even so, I wouldn’t recommend this place to women traveling alone.

Good location. Great customer service and friendly staff online and via the phone It’s a rip off. No duvet on the bed, a mere bedsheet, no AC/heating in the room, no blankets, no trashcan, no plug even for the night table light. Everything is very old. Paper thin walls (literally papier mache).

LOCATION IS THE BEST Too much noisy.
-
The desk, the spacious bathroom and the good location. Noisy floors.

Check in instructions were not that clear, when I was about to arrive I realized they didn’t sent me the access code, there was no toilet paper

Cheap (by Madrid prices anyways) Great location, walking distance to all the main attractions, metro stations nearby Good views from the window Everything was clean and tidy Well-equipped kitchen (range, cookware, kettles, toasters, grills, coffee machine, dishes&utensils) OK bathrooms with hot water Comfortable mattress All the doors had electronic locks, no need to carry around keys Charming building & elevator Check-in process is not trivial, you have to get the entrance code during the online check-in. There is no staff at the property to help you, you have to text them on WhatsApp if you need anything Floors are squeaky, and there's very little sound isolation, so you can hear other guests walking in the common areas Window is old and doesn't seal too well, so you can hear cars on the street even if it's closed The central heating turned on and off by itself, the room got a little chilly in the morning (we stayed in the beginning of december) There was only one blanket for the two of us, which is not ideal considering the previous point There was a moldy smell in the elevator area There's barely enough water pressure in one of the bathrooms, showering is not very comfortable No bidet No separate recycling bins provided at the property, all the bins are for general waste only

The location is great, transport is nearby, the neighborhood is nice. It's was a lovely ancient building with lots of woods very charming Personnel is polite and kind It's secure The was 2 out 3 bathroom without curtains or blind at the windows and the windows are not very tanned for privacy. No Sounds proof rooms/bathrooms Wood ground is noisy

Location Noise in the night

I was honestly quite skeptical and scared of what I’m gonna find after seeing some reviews on here , but I really had no complaints about this stay. Firstly, the location was great!! Absolutely loved it. The room itself was quite big, I love that I had a mini fridge in my room. The bed was comfortable and the shared areas were just fine. The bathrooms were always clean , there was always toilet paper as well. Would stay here again! There was some dust on the floors in the corners, outside of that, all good

Checking out The place is a run down complex of rooms with 3 bathrooms on each floor. 2 showers per floor. (One was broken). No toilet paper. Dirty, loud. Night club right under the windows, earplugs won't help. I read the other reviews, thought it's probably not that bad and booked. I shouldn't have. Sleeping under a bridge would have been better. Stay away

Great location, near bus and metro stops. Room was clean and quiet, with just the necessities-double bed, desk, chair, and a large space to store clothes. Kitchen and bathrooms also well maintained. The double bed was comfortable and the towels were nice. There were many outlets in the room, also a major plus! The rooftop balcony was a comfortable space as well. There were also two markets, a theater and many sidewalk cafes nearby. No hot water! It did make for a bracing shower. There's no air conditioning, but I did not have a problem in Madrid's August heat-I simply kept the window open and the ceiling fan on and the room stayed a comfortable temperature.
