Esta en una muy buena zona, muy limpio y el desayuno espectacular. Si bien parece un hotel antiguo tiene menos de 20 años solo que esta ambientado de epoca

The hotel is in a good location, right next to a lovely little square surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is in a retro style, which actually provides a feeling of warmth of a familiar space, which is really important for the feeling of comfort. The rooms are very spacious, the inventory is solid, one might say above average level. Cleanliness is at an impeccable level. Breakfast buffet with not too much choice, but with carefully selected dishes, which is much more important. The staff is really professional and friendly and we have nothing but praise for them. Excellent ratio of price and quality of experience. Not one thing was off.

The room felt not taken care of well enough, the carpet was spoiled by the flood from the bathroom some time ago and never replaced. The carpet wasn't perfectly clean, we could see that on the socks.

This is generally in Madrid. I know the pet owners get additional tax, and we see the marks of poops on the streets and walkways, and tourists still see them. I wish the city does regular and frequent cleaning of the streets. I feel like I stepped on dried poop bomb all the time. Please wash your streets regularly.

The water pressure in the shower is great and every appliance worked fine. There were no leaks. We had a problem with our passport and the staff at the reception quickly reassured us that we can use their printer and also helped us make calls to the police. We really felt reassured by their assistance.customer service is really top notch! Our room is indeed on the quiet side but our neighbor was quite noisy.

I loved the friendly and professional staffs and the location. Also loved the classic designs and furnitures of the hotel. The bed was a bit too small. I'm not a big person but I couldn't move much. And the duvet was a little bit uncomfortable design.

Staff, location, cleanliness

The hotel is located in a beatiful neighborhood (near Olavide Square), full of nice restaurants and cafes, and with a very nice vibe. The location is relatively central, but not central-central like staying in Gran Via, which is actually great if you don't want to stay in the middle of the crowds and tourist traps. Nice buffet breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big. The WiFi is very slow. I needed to work and some pages would take several seconds to load on my laptop, which was very inconvenient when you're on vacation and want to work as little as possible. Videos on my phone would stop in the middle to load. The rooms are big but don't have luggage racks, it would be great if they could add this. The decor of the hotel could be renovated. It is not old or rundown, but it is definitely "vintage".

Wonderful place to stay, extremely friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, perfect location (central though quiet). We had a perfect room, full of air, with a huge terrace. Loved it. Would give 10 out of ten. Would appreciate more thorough bath tube cleaning

Stayed one night at Agora Juan de Austria and really enjoyed it. The hotel is in a very quiet, calm location in Chamberí, yet just steps away from nice restaurants, bars, and a lively local market. The staff was excellent — friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet, ideal for a restful night. Perfect balance of peace and convenience. Would definitely return! n/a

The lock on my bathroom didn't work.

Great location, with available secure parking (fee). Not necessarily a negative, but the parking garage is accessed via a car elevator (self park). If you are planning on using the garage, check with the hotel to make sure your car will fit. Our Clio fit, but it was tight!

Some parts in the rooms should be renovated. For example the fan at the air heating system. The breakfast could be improved. However whatever was offered in the breakfast was very tasty and the lady at the breakfast very kind.

The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. It was a bit noisy at night, both from the street and from the room next door.

Filler text. Filler text. Noise from the hallways and other rooms late in the evening, early in the morning. The water in the shower drained too slowly so I had to keep turning the water on and off to avoid turning my shower into a foot bath. I asked the staff to fix it and they were responsive. But all they did was take a plunger to the drain. That didn't help with the blockage. And I'm not sure where the plunger had been used before so I was disturbed by that choice in terms of hygiene.
