The sound insulation was very poor; when someone spoke loudly in the next room or the hallway, it felt as though all the noise was right inside the room.

The tiny lobby doubles as a coffee shop during the day, which makes check-in and check-out difficult if the shop is full of patrons.

The hotel presented well and was in a very good location, walkable to many nearby sites, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean and well appointed. I loved the charm of the old fashioned elevator. Unfortunately for me and my family, my father passed away the first day of the stay and we needed to cut our visit short and travel back to the US. We ended up only staying one night. Since I prepaid for our entire visit, I asked if any consideration could be given to a bereavement discount/refund. I was very disappointed to be denied by the front desk staff and really no consideration given to our circumstances. I was/am willing to provide documentation of his death to confirm our situation, but it was not considered. It would be difficult for me to stay with you again, given the unforgiving, callous nature of the response from the hotel.

I liked everything about this hotel, especially the working table at the lobby. The staff was for the most very friendly and helpful, in particular Flavio !

The only thing I felt it was missing was a hook or two in the room to hang my hoody and purse on. Hooks are an underrated design element that add to the functionality significantly!

Bang in the center of town and walkable to the fun and interesting areas of the city and the dining spots. The hotel personnel were warm and accommodating. The room was fun with a bunk bed in it.

The place is right outside Gran Via metro station but is still quiet. The room is large and comfortable with a large clean shower and bathroom. The bed was big and comfy.

The location is absolutely perfect. Just off the Gran Via, a wonderful plaza across the street, walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do, and eat. The casino across the street was a wonderful surprise. The shower was heaven and the bed was comfy!! Grabbing coffee & tea at the cafe in the morning was a little challenging. We didn't get the breakfast with the room, there were so many restaurants all around (including a Starbucks and a McDonald's across the street, if that's your thing).

The location was perfect. Close to the metro and walkable to most everything. The staff were all extremely professional and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I didn’t like the property. It was so loud even at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 am it was nearly impossible to sleep. Far too loud, poor performing elevator, and the staff was unwilling to help with hospitality such as calling taxis. My TV did not work and they showed disinterest in fixing it.
