Not much. Bathroom small and mould in shower. Bed was awful and 2 could not sleep in bed so had to go to single bed. Doors didn't close properly. Noisy as is on main road. No aircon. It was old and restored cheaply.

the location was great and room was cosy and spacious BUT When we arrived, they didn't know we had our 3-year-old twins with us. They were complaining about the kids and wanted to charge more. They ended up not charging more, but they took our American passport as a deposit. In the morning, they decided to charge us more for the kids, and we couldn't do anything about it. We also had no time or energy to fight. We paid more, and they never gave us our passports back. We had a really big issue at the airport, and even after we told them, they still didn't give us the passports back. They didn't want to send them to us for free. They insisted we have to pay for the delivery. We contacted booking.com, and they talked to them, and they agreed to send them to us. A little after that, we started to get weird mail from Spain addresses to our address in New York, meaning When we arrived, they didn't know we had our 3-year-old twins with us. No lobby. No bathroom other than in the room.

location was central, bedroom spacious, bathroom small. The bathroom was really small. no water pressure in the shower, sometimes no warm water. The door opens to the interior and makes the space very crammed to exit, also it was not clean- there was hair in the bathtub and the bathroom corners had sludge. The worst- i saw the cleaning person wipe the elevator floor with the hand towels used for guest rooms. I wondered about he cleanliness of the towels because they were not good quality. Noisy street. They also allow dogs and there was a dog yapping constantly during the day and you can hear it from the reception. Nothing was done to stop it for the 3 days I was there.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite and stayed 5 days. The suite was very spacious, clean, comfortable bed and within walking distance to the palace, cathedral, restaurants, shopping, and several metro stops. Yes, there was some street noise at night, not a lot, but when you book a hotel in the city center, some street noise is to be expected. Front desk staff was very helpful, this being our first stay in Madrid. Our suite had a microwave, sink, stovetop (we did not use), small refrigerator, plates and eating utensils, dish soap and sponge. A roll of paper towels in our kitchen area would have been helpful.

Suite Prado Hotel in Madrid is loved for its spacious suites, central location, and friendly service. The main downside is the noise from nearby bars and ongoing construction next door.

We had to book at the last minute but they found us a nice room in this old but updated hotel. Loved the location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us find some great places to eat and sip sherry at a local historical bar. Their air conditioning wasn't working.

Great value for great location and lots of space. Really appreciated the sitting room, kitchenette was more equipped than i expected, bathroom was large and had a tub. Beds were a little firmer than I care for, but that's me, and not unusual for my experience in Spain.

This is the worse and dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. It doesn’t look anything like the photos. Not even close. It’s not 4 star and it’s horrible value for money.

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

    Superb

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

There were lots of very good bars and restaurants in the streets around this hotel which was a blessing and a curse as my room faced what was a very noisy street at night. The staff were lovely and the hotel was very close to everything.

Location & friendly staff especially the lady who delivered breakfast Nil
