The location was perfect - walking distance from Madrid's main attractions. Room was great, good air conditioning, TV and comfortable bed. Walls are a little thin so you do hear everything happening in the next room.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. They were always so helpful. Beds comfy and shower great. It was a little noisy the first night but when we closed the double doors it was perfect. Excellent location to explore the city!

Great location close to restaurants/cafes and the main Plaza, room had what we needed, staff were very helpful and friendly. Air con worked very well in the heat. The room and bathroom were a bit small, but it wasn’t really an issue for our two night stay

We had a very nice room with beautiful surprises: large windows and two doors that open to the terrace which is a proper little roof garden with a table and chairs to have an evening meal snd breakfast. There is even a proper fridge and a kettle, some salt. We enjoyed the sunset over the roof tops. The stairs are the steepest I ever had in a hotel - but the staff is so very friendly and carries the suitcases up into the room. There is a good choice of books and a sofa to relax. Good shower. The night was calm - in the city center!

Excellent location. The property is about a 20-30 minute walk from the main train station. You can pretty much walk to main attractions from here. We did not require public transport during our 4 days here. Good value for money rooms with sufficient facilities and air con to survive hot Madrid summers. If you are looking for a clean and a comfortable room to sleep with en-suite facilities this place is perfect. There’s a metro station close by if you want to get on public transport. Several supermarkets (carrefour, Lidl) are available short walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants are nearby for food and drink. Staff are very friendly and helpful (big shout out to the lady with colour hair). I did not notice a lift. If you have mobility issues double check with them prior to booking. Just be mindful that they require you to leave your room key at the reception when you go outside (presumably to stop people from misplacing keys). While this did not bother me, just keep that in mind. Reception is manned 24 hours so accessing at any time is not an issue.

I did not stay and the host did not confirm this to booking, making me pay for the stay. I am now pursuing claims to get my money back. Apartment was very dirty and host did not acknowledge this. Our top-floor room has a balcony/terrace attached. It was great. Large enough to have two people sit around a table and relax at the end of the day. Even though the hotel has no elevators, that balcony is well worth the climb. The staff were very kind and helpful. Location was excellent. Pretty much everything we wanted to see in Madrid was within walking distance.
