Great location, central to everything, friendly staff, room was comfortable, clean
-
It is close to most every place you want to visit.

Horrible room. Nothing like the photos on booking Staff was rude and would not refund us when we arrived to find we were assigned a dungeon like room with no natural light. The room was a far cry from those they show on booking, then they hold your money hostage. This was not a good experience at all stay away from this place. Do not recommend

Perfect location, 1 min to Plaza Mayor. We walked every place. Room size is good and cleaned every day. If I come back, I can stay here again. Yes, there is noise from out side but it didn't bother us much.
-
It was noisy my single room at night
-
Nice central location, 24 hr reception Lack of outlets
-
They requested us to leave the keys at reception every time we go out. This was cumbersome since we were in another floor different to reception. We recommend to change the bathtube for safety reasons, it was difficult to get into and out, specislly when you sre wet, can slip and have and accident

Loved the balcony view.

This place is in a great area with plenty of restaurants. It is within walking distance to the metro but maybe not with a lot of luggage. I arrived by taxi. The entrance is very discrete with a sign that has faded so take note that it is the door beside Casa Garcia. You can hear everything and the reception could also probably hear everything in my room since it was exactly behind it. This is not for people sensitive with sound.

very small rooms and bathroom
-
Tooo loud, you could hear everything even the conversations in neighbors rooms. Especially the water, from showers or the toilets, was always insanely loud. We couldn’t cancel our second night their, but ended up still booking another place because the noise was unbearable

The best possible location in Madrid. Historical and beautiful building close to everything.
-
Great location, right next to Plaza Mayor. The staff is nice and the hotel feels chill and cozy. Good place for a 2 day visit There’s no breakfast available, and no bar where you can get one either. If the rooms at least had electric kettles to make yourself a coffee, it would make things better.
-
You must clarify people that the Hostal is only one level of the building and show pictures of the main entrance inside building.
-
We would've liked for the room to have a mini fridge and a kettle.
