The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and respectful. I liked the fact that it was in the city centre, so you had easy access to everything – trains, shops and so on. I’ll definitely choose the same hotel again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you I have nothing negative to say,

We travel to Madrid very often and chose this hotel due to how centrally located and walkable everything is. Upon arrival the room was very uncomfortably warm. We turned on the AC unit in the room when arriving (9am) and turned it down to 17°C/62°F to try and cool it down. The temp was reading 26.2°C/78°F but that's to be expected with the summer time if the unit has been off. We waited over 5 hours for the room to cool down before requesting that maintenance take a look. We asked two different times, waiting multiple hours before asking the second. There was never any solution provided and it was miserable trying to sleep. At 6am it was still reading 25.5°C/77.9°F inside the room with it being set to 17°C/62°F. When checking out of the hotel we told the front desk a third time about the AC and the response was just "Ok, I'll let maintenance know", still no solution, apology, or partial refund offered. I typically never leave reviews but for me air conditioning during the summer in Madrid is a must, especially if the hotel advertises it. We had booked this hotel for a later stay in August with family visiting Spain but will be finding other accommodations.

This hotel was reasonably priced. and had a huge bathroom. It also was in an excellent location was very easy to get to from the trains and the plane. The room was dirty. We had to roll the carpet up because it was so disgusting. Also, there was no where in the room/bathroom to put anything, so even the towels when we first got there were on the toilet, which is not nice to see.
