I stayed one night but it exceeded my expectations and I have experience with other hostels so that I can compare and talk about the best things about this one. First of all, I stayed in an all-female dorm with 6 beds. However, you will probably only see the person in the bunk above or below you, because the beds are arranged in a way that they face either the window or the wall. That is a plus since it will feel so private and comfortable even without the beds having curtains. Other than the beds, the bathroom situation is perfect. You’ll have two showers and two sinks with mirrors and one toilet not all together in one bathroom but situated in different places in the room so everyone can do their own thing without taking up much space or having to wait up just to wash your face etc. What I really liked the most are the showers; you have place to put on and hang up your stuff and there was a towel so that you can dry your flip flops so the floors won’t get wet. There was even shampoo/shower gel inside which is a plus. The toilet we had in the room didn’t lock, and you had to hold the door but it didn’t cause any problem since you can tell if it’s empty or not. However, it would be better if it is fixed.

We had a fantastic stay at Bastardo Hostel in Madrid and truly enjoyed every aspect of it. The location is excellent - perfect for exploring the city and getting around easily. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also loved restaurant Limbo - great food, a lively atmosphere, and a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hostel itself has a unique, stylish atmosphere and a great energy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We would absolutely stay at Bastardo again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Madrid.

The hostel is nice very easy to find! We stayed there twice when we visited madrid! The family rooms on the fourth floor were exceptionally good! They don’t have a-lot of the amnesties in the public areas!

Great location. Their prices change so much, that I had to pay more for a worse room, when they actually had cheaper better rooms available. Sometimes the morning staff was a bit dismissive. It wasn't a huge problem, but the afternoon staff was great!

I really liked the location and the facilities in the room! I didn't like the attitude of the staff at breakfast time. They weren't professional, and I felt a bit uncomfortable when I wanted to eat breakfast. Although the other staff were nice and helpful!
