Location Too noisy, it seams to be an Air B&B. The mattress had a very bad smell. It was changed for another one with the same issue.

Location was perfect! The small, slow elevator
-
The location Their is smell in the room comes from toilets

Noise is an issue. No noise from outside, but at night I could hear a man and woman talking not loudly but in normal voices, not from the room next door but from across the hall and two doors down. Later at night I heard a man snoring, once again not loudly and not from the room next door, but clearly audible.

Was close to metro and easy to find Beds were not comfortable… the shade covering the windows was broken so our street view room was lit up all night making it hard to sleep

The shower has no cold water. I almost get burned by the extremely hot water-jet from the hand-shower. The hotel was not really a licensed hotel. The sign on the wall states it has the category of hostel. I felt kind of cheated by the Booking advertising of the place.

Muy amables. Pudimos hacer check in unos minutos antes.

The room was wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful. Other than the check-in (see below) -- which was to put it simply "bizarre" -- we liked the hotel, its location, our room and the breakfast. The check-in was a bit bizarre. No real hotel lobby. You enter the hotel via a dimly lit, not well-appointed, somewhat dingey hallway to a guy (relatively unfriendly) behind a glass enclosed window. It looked like a police check-in point. This is NOT the hotel check-in, which is on the sixth floor. We expected an attractive ground-level lobby in which to hang out for the price we paid for the room.

Location was great, bed was comfortable. Bathroom, the floors would get soaked.

Location Lift is too small, even for 3 persons

The location is great, near to many touristy places near the center and Gran Vía street which might be of interest if you interested in shopping. The breakfast at the hotel is good, it has good variety for all preferences, if you are lucky you'll be able to pick a table with a nice view as well. The room was comfortable very compelte with everything you need for your stay. The building is old and it has a smell that's hard to describe and not the type of smell you can open your window to ventilate I didn't complain as I only stayed one night.

don't choose this place if you aim a night rest, it's impossible.

The elevators, only one was working, the elevators are very small ,It took long time to get into, at the end I had to bring my luggage through the steps

To start off with, the check-in process was absurd. There were no instructions about accessing the building -- the signage outside makes it seem like you need to use the keypad to access, but that didn't work, only to find that the door was open. You check in first on the ground floor, then check in again on the 6th floor, and my room was another floor down through a maze of doors that was not well explained. Neither employee knew what they were doing or talking about outside of the basic asking for ID and payment -- I asked the 6th floor employee about getting to the airport the next day. The property advertises an airport shuttle, but that was never mentioned, and I was told that there were Metro repairs meaning the only way to the airport was a bus, which (as I found out the next day) was incorrect. On checking out early in the morning, I went back up to the 6th floor (as instructed) only to find it was locked with no guidance. The employee on the ground floor acted offended that I would have even tried to check out on the 6th floor. The room was extremely basic - bed, nightstand, lamp, small table with a kettle - which was fine, although smaller than it looks in the pictures. EXTREMELY thin walls; I could hear every conversation taking place in the hallway and some in surrounding rooms. It is smack dab in the middle of a tourist zone (would compare to Times Square in New York) and loud, although it was somewhat quieter at night. The bed wasn't very comfortable. In the bathroom, the shower doors didn't close completely, flooding the floor, and although there was a wall-mounted soap dispenser for the sink, there was no soap in the shower, and a large jug of cleaning solution was left in the shower. Worst of all, it wasn't particularly clean. There were ants in the bathroom, and I heard scurrying noises akin to some kind of rodent throughout my whole stay. The bathroom floor and the shower were visibly dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.
