Very clean and in a very good zone in the center of Madrid, the staff was very friendly and nice. The bed was a little bit hard and bathroom was quite small, but nothing to complain about it.

La recepcionista muy amable … muy querida me acomodo rápido para no tener que esperar Soy dormilona y con Jetlag ni te cuento… sería bueno que la camarera no hiciera tanto ruido al tirar las puertas o mover muebles en la mañana

Tiny room couldn't open suitcase properly

Good bed very big and good mattress, nice staff, good location, it was clean No fridge, no electric kettle, no space to put the towels, very small toilet and shower

Very clean and updated. The staff is very nice. Location is a reasonable walk to Metro and bus stops, and not far to the Prado and to restaurants and cafes. It’s advertised as a room with a balcony but actually the balcony is completely filled with the air conditioning unit. However with the warm weather an air conditioner wins over an open balcony!

The location was awesome. The cafe on the corner was a beautiful place to have a coffee and breakfast before I left for the airport. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable. The TV was a smart TV so I was able to watch something in English The lobby is on the second floor and it was difficult to find at first.

Really clean and friendly staff. Location is amazing. Close to Madrid centre, everything is walkable from there. Lots of food options around. If you’re in budget traveller then absolutely recommend. It’s a bit noisy and street is laud but it’s because of location. Don’t get discouraged by that. Absolutely beautiful street still.

The very central location and the cleanliness. The room was absolutely tiny, hardly any space to put things or even to move around. The fact that they had no second key for us.

Awesome location, very comfy bed, and great value! Loved the balcony for fresh air, and convenient amenities close by. Having an electric tea kettle or coffee maker in room.

Great location, cute room, lovely little balcony, comfortable bed, hospitable front desk I walked past it several times before I found it. Reception is on the 2nd floor and you could access that by elevator, but rooms are on the third floor and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Nice place in a really good location. In walking distance to most tourist sites. Staff were friendly and really helpful. The room was a good size although the bathroom was a bit small. The bathroom was a little small but it's Ok in general. There is no fridge also.

Everything else... elevator doesn't reach the 2nd floor where my room was. It only reaches the 2nd floor (US 3rd floor), of the apartment building... So, the hostal is an apartment within the building - none of it previously disclosed - reception desk is inside the apartment. The whole place is an echo chamber - The reception phone rings and I would hear it from my room, even past midnight! The plumbing - showers, sinks and of course toilets - reverberate throughout. Papier-mache dividing walls - if you want to call it that - more like partitions... I was privy to a neibors' snoring. Any vehicle going by on the street can be heard as if you had a front row seat... Concusion: I did not sleep more than 3 hours each of the 2 nights I had booked AND was charged for, in full, upon checkin.

Clean, comfortable room, welcoming staff, and a fantastic location right in the city center. The street is pleasantly quiet, which makes it perfect for a good night’s sleep after traveling.

Location, space in the room, closet, clean bathroom, balcony Would have liked a bigger elevator, but it was alright

The rooms are clean and the location is excellent, in the city center but in one of the quiet side streets with lots of shops and restaurants. The room and bathroom are very small. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. We were kept awake by cleaning staff being very loud early in the morning. They do not clean or change towels, but I guess that’s what you get with a hostal.
