Hostal Numancia

The staff were very friendly and they asked us many times if we needed anything. The location was good. It was close to the train station and the metro to it. That metro also went to other parts of town. The rooms were clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. They had a shared fridge that we used and a fan. If you have a hard time with heat this could be a difficult place to stay in the summer months, but that is true for a lot of similar hostal type places in Spain. We expected that going in and it was fine for us.

Amazing location

Near to the metro stations, walking distance to Sol. Two shared bathrooms for approx. 11 rooms. Everything was clean, good matress and pillows. Elevator, because ot is located on the 5th floor. Thin walls, wooden doors. You can hear the door slaming, a rolling suitcase in the hallway, and even understand every word what your neighbor says. There is a sink in the room, but not a hanger near by for the towell.

Good location The lift was not working, and staff told us that they will fix it by Monday - Tuesday (we came on Saturday).

Nice room in nice place. It was clean and personal was hospitable. There is a kitchen, but without a kettle. No air conditioner. This info is available in description, so we wasn’t surprised, but we didn’t expect it would be so hot ?

The shower are nice and big. The private room for 2 people is too small. The window is also super small. There is no AC and it was super hot. There was a fan but the room was really not comfortable with that heat, size and super tiny window. Showers need an exiting mat because it’s very slippery of the floor.

Mold in the bathroom and not possible to close the shower door. The “air conditioning” was very bad. Hot and muggy in the room. Not worth the money

Good location. Metro station, Laundry, supermarkets, restaurants near hotel. Easy and quick check in. Space in Quadruple is reduced.

Check in, check out were super simple and the place was clean. The room was very small and cramped. Most of the TV channels didn't really work properly. There was zero noise cancellation and we went to bed early since we have two children. The guests that came in later at night were quite loud talking in the hallway and there was a lot more noise in the hallway since the bathrooms are shared. We definitely didn't enjoy the shared bathroom situation.

Loved the location. The bathrooms were clean. Let us leave our luggage there False advertisement about heating in the room, there isn’t. Staff didn’t have any english feel this should be mentioned on the page. Found a few hairs in our bedding

Very good location, clean, tv in the room, exellent wifi. Elevator. Female's stuff doesn't speak English, bit unfriendly. Bad isolation between the rooms, can hear clearly what the person in the room next speaks.

Staff friendly, but not all of them spoke any other language than Spanish, which made communication difficult. Very small room, with 2 beds, small window, but private bathroom was a plus. As we stayed, there was 40 degrees. No access to any balcony or terrace was a downside, but it's hostel, not a hotel, so I suppose it was better than many other hostels I've seen. To give it a credit, i must admit that it was a huge humidifier in the room instead of AC, which made the condition a bit better and cooler. If you don't need any luxury, just simply some place to sleep at night, it's a good place for you.

Very well located. Metro station a few meters away. Lots of shops and cafes nearby. A very cleaned property. The only thing is that the lift was broken and the hostel is in the 5th floor.
