Nice place with a good location in Madrid. No staff support when discovering my passport had been stolen at thier property.. They didnt do anything to assist in locating the passport. They had me write an email that was never acknowledged or any follow-up provided.

Fantastic hostel! One of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. Staff are very warm, friendly, and helpful! Shockingly comfortable beds! The A/C worked well (but I had to leave my curtain open to feel it). Bar area was a nice place to hang out. Kitchen was useful. Liked that I could leave my luggage there before checking in. Very clean! Sink in bedroom but not a big deal - just not great for people on different schedules.

Very central, very friendly staff, thank GOD they had a 24H reception. Easy to get in and out, close ish to the train station too, and free luggage storage! With laundry machines!! Cash laundry machines only + no soap in the shower (at least in my room)

The organization that the bunk bed provided such as the drawers, shelves, and hooks, were efficient and great in considering the needs of individuals. The dining room at the lobby level was very useful considering the kitchen facilities available and the shared space for eating. Also appreciate the clean water available. There was also free luggage storage for when we had checked out. Some kitchen staff were friendly enough to guide us in using the oven. The hostel would appeal to Gen Z, with the lively and social atmosphere. Upon check in, due to language barriers, I had to ask her to write down how much we would be charged. I did not like that the person at the reception had to speak so loud that the entire ground floor could hear her, especially when it came to pertinent details to my account. She had to show me the screen in a grand way, just to show me the figures. It was a little patronizing. For such a small bathroom, why would you put a bathtub? Also, the sign that says not to poop in the bath was more disgust-inducing than it was a significant reminder. Also, the sink was placed outside the bathroom which disrupted those who wouldn’t be using the bathroom as the water would be prone to spilling onto the floor. We had an encounter with one of the kitchen staff. After staying there for a few days, we had always practiced bringing the ditry dishes to ghe kitchen sink. Surprisingly, one day, when one of our family members brought the dishes to the kitchen, he was told to wash it. When I followed to bring my dirty dishes, I was also told to wash the load of dishes we had brought. The kitchen staff stayed and watched as she directed me on where to place the dishes afterward. This was surprising, as we hadn’t been asked to do this before. The next day, we accepted the new routine and began to wash the dishes without being prompted. That day, another kitchen staff offered to wash the dishes. Knowing what the kitchen staff from the previous day had said, I kindly rejected her offer and continued washing the dishes. A few minutes later, a supervisor came in and told me that I didn’t have to be washing the dishes. The kitchen staff who offered to take the dishes explained to her that I had volunteered to wash the dishes, which is true. After that encounter, I am now thinking that the kitchen staff that had us wash our dishes was simply handing us her job, knowing that there were no written rules that we could refer to.

Loved the air conditioning and the comfort of the beds. The small tub was very awkward and hard to take a shower in.

I liked the common area near the bar. It's a great place to socialize and meet new people. The bunk bed above me felt too low and I bumped my head a couple times, but it's not a big deal.

It was a great fit for our family of 5. We loved how clean, safe and comfortable it was. The close proximity to the city center was a great bonus.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast! No issues

Staff at the reception was always extremely helpful and polite. Decent sized room (Superior private) for a good price compared to other hotels in the area. Effective AC The superior/deluxe private room is right in front of elevators - you can hear the noise of the motor and feel a rumbling in the room every time it is called. Also a maintainance or storage room is right next to it and you can hear everything whenever a staff member goes in there. Unfortunate placement for the most premium room in the hostel. Thankfully quiet enough between 1 - 9 am for a good sleep.

It is very clean, the staff was very helpful and kind, and they are very attentive at all times

Youth groups were noisy late into night and rooms have no sound proofing.
