The beds could be improved a bit, although for the price being paid, it's just a small inconvenience.

Great value for the price, in a safe, easily accessible location right in front of Plaza Rio2. Don't pay attention to the biased reviews. This is decent place for budget travelers. It has everything one needs. And if you value saving money with a decent level of comfort, you should not hesitate to book! You can't beat the price. You can easily reach this hostel by bus, with Legazpi Metro station also located at a short, 12 minute walk. There are plenty of nearby places to eat out, as well as a supermarket just 3 minutes away. All four staff members were polite and helpful, but one was not as friendly as the others. While this does not affect the overall quality of the stay, it could be improved through enhanced people-skills-training. There are two separate bathrooms, with only one having a functional shower room in the mixed-dorm at which I stayed. It could be ideal if they fixed the non-operational shower (you can still use the sink and toilet there, but one has to use the other bathroom to shower). With that said, I did not have any issues finding an available shower/bathroom when needed, even though there are 22 guests staying in that mixed-dorm.

i dont know no silence, hard to sleep and be fresh in the morning. No one respects quite hours, room itself walk-through room....not posible to sleep at all. For me, was the main point because during the day i was out of place.

Only three single bathrooms, but they were super clean and I appreciated the privacy of them.

when we arrived, they told us they were overbooked and transferred us to another hostel, that's was really dirty. there wasn't fresh air, the linen was dirty, the shower didn't warm up after a while (they had just two bathroom for all of the women there) and there's was no locker on the door, so anyone else could get into our room.

I don't recommend it! They have checked in with all the homless people, caughing all night (only mans...)! They have put us in a 14-bed dormitory, along with many permanent residents, people who came to work in Madrid. They coughed all night. In addition, they had an electric device (similar to a water pump), which started every 5 minutes, and when it stopped it sounded like it was hitting a pipe. Heep away from this hostel / albergue. It is bad for piligrims!

Comfortable There were several people in the room snoring very loudly, which made it difficult to sleep. This was one of the negative aspects of my stay at the hotel.

Just the worst hostel experience I've had in many many years. Nothing positive to say. Rude staff. Only one toilet for dozens of guests. They were remodeling the bathrooms and I had to wait as much as a half an hour to get to a usable toilet. Kitchen with almost not usable utensils, pots/pans, and plates. Just a terrible experience, all around.

The room is noisy, not clean and uncomfortable.
-
Large number of bunks in each room, can get crowded and noisy. No privacy and no amenities like sheets or towels.
-
The bathrooms are kinda clean as well as the kitchen. The bedrooms have very poor ventilation- which means they smelled horrible, like feet and dirty clothes. The staff was were very rude. They screamed at many of the guests.
-
Some guests didn't respect the silent hours ...and I didn't like that they didn't air the rooms.. with fresh air.
-
Staff make discrimination if you are latino they will attend to you and provide all you ask. I was given a broken bed i asked to change it while there free ones but i wad not attended Staff attitude
