The location was fantastic. It is on a very quiet offshoot of Gran Villa and very close to the metro. The street is quiet. The air conditioning did not effectively cool the room. It was cooler than outside but the room never got close to a set point. The pictures are literally true but even with a lot of experience looking at pictures to ‘sell’ a place, these did not portray how small the space was. A tall man could barely sit on the toilet. The cockroach that greeted us in the evening was not acceptable. The lock on the room door was a pain. It always took us a couple of minutes to get it to actually close. The directions said it would automatically lock after 20 seconds. That is wishful thinking. Do not plan to run out of the room. Apart from that, while there is an outside door with lock and the room door, I have never experienced such a low security lock in all my travels in Spain.

Very conveniently located to great neighborhoods and transportation, such as buses and the metro. Code entries for lobby door and room door makes it very convenient also No complaints at all

The place is very near Gran Via, and very accessible by metro, and bus from Atocha. The area is very close to Asian restaurants and few bars nearby. The place gives you a very bohemian feel, but with high-end security lock system, very convenient and reliable. The floor upstairs may interrupt your sleep, as people come up and down.

Centrally located. Our host Julia was excellent and was there for us all of the time.

Perfect location, can't be better. Clean room. Self check inn/out was easy with instructions provided by host. I read some reviews where some people complain that toilet seat and bathroom is only separated from rest of the room by some paravan, which is true, but I didn't see this as any problem. Last day we left our luggage in property which was very convenient but you need to know that luggage stay in part of hallway locked with bike lock to wall so better to lock your suitcase. But it was fine.

The only good thing is the place of the apartment. There are only two towels per person, no head towel and no feet towels, only one sink towel and one bath towel , the bed was so dusty that I needed to clean it before sleeping and I told the owner she responded that she will give me extra towels but she never showed up. And she is claiming that she speaks English but that is a big lie. At 10:58 the owner sent us a message to tell us that we need to be out of the room. We were stuck in the metro. We showed up at 11:05 and we found that the owner took our luggage out of the apartment without informing us in advance. We tried to speak to her but she claimed that she did not understand and she continued speaking in Spanish. This is not our first trip and this was the first time we saw this kind of behaviour. The only good thing about the owner was that she let us check in before an hour

Pretentious place with fancy decorations, but with a bathroom without the door, located next to your bed. The place has an excellent location, but the room's setup is ridiculous. Fortunately, I was alone. I do not want to see/hear other person doing things on the toilet. And there is no reason for not installing the bathroom door, except for saving money in the construction.

The location is very good and the mattress/bed was comfortable. The room was a bit dated in overall decor. The dark ceiling with dark decor on the walls makes the environment a bit heavy and not so cozy. The bathroom had no privacy because it was completely open to the room with the toilet facing the bed. Also the air inside the room didn’t feel fresh we had to leave the window opened for a bit before sleeping.

The location is very nice. On the center but on a calm street. Self-checking. Staff very responsive. I was not expecting to have the toilet WITHOUT DOOR inside the room . So if you want privacy this is not the place for you. The smell of the room is not great.

Great location Humid and a bit smelly. There was no separate toiled: wc, lavabo and shower directly in the room. Dark. Very cheap and old furniture.

Great location, air conditioning, and check in process. Good bed. A nice place for a couple to stay. Good to have a fridge too. Clean enough but not deep cleaned. A bit roughly put together and showing wear and tear.

Good location, very close to plaza de espana. We booked a room for 3 nights and unfortunately had to mode to a hotel on our second day, because there were simply way to many problems. The toilet is right next to your bed and they don’t show that in pictures. The only thing that separates tue toilet from your bed is a flimsy piece of cloth that you can see through. Simply unacceptable. If your alone that’s fine I guess, but with couples, cmon, seriously? The shower drain was clogged, the room was flooding everytime. AC didn’t work. Found cigarette buts behind the bed. But the worst part, was on our second day, when the key code for the door didn’t work anymore. Since we couldn’t get it to the building, after 45 of waiting finally someone came. They opened the door and immediately left. For our surprise the room key code wasn’t working as well, so another 45 minutes waiting. So the door to our room was finally open but then she tells us that we can’t close the door otherwise we can’t heft in again. We kindly asked for a refund and left. The price is quite reasonable and the pictures look good. But you’ll quickly realize that you should’ve paid a little extra and have a decent hotel room.

The property is off the main road and offers easy access to anything you would need. Very clean and parking lot available if you decide to drive. Not really clear in the pictures but the quadruple room is really a queen bed and twin sofa bed that pulls out . It kinda small for 3 or 4 people. The only issue we had was at night the AC unit weren’t working in the building as we heard our neighbor messing with the AC unit early in the night as well. Although we only stayed one night I give benefit of the doubt that the host would have had the AC corrected in the morning time. I would stay there again as long as the AC unit was working fine.
