Excellent & nice food while taking breakfast because my favorites Nasi Lemak @ Coconut ? rice served every morning, and Teh Tarik as well . The hotel is strategically located to historical places & restaurant and the nearest mosque just walking distance. Unfortunately my business partner is not coming for check in . I already reserved room for her . Therefore I am requesting for refund for that room reserved.

Pros Room is superb, exceeded my expectation. Location unbeatable, best location if u want to stroll around Malacca city. Pool - Very nice overlooking Malacca city. Cons Breakfast - not live up to 5 star rating.. underwhelming breakfast for this type of hotel. The staff didn't mention there is buffet area for the breakfast. They will give you menu and ask u to order from it, but most of the good food is at the buffet which left us confused. Staff - Staff didn't welcome customer, almost feel like they don't want to talk with us. Not feeling welcomed when checked in and we contacted online but the response is quite slow. Don't expect too much on staff hospitality

I like the friendliness of the staff, from the reception to the housekeeping. The willingness to help, and the promptness in response when help was required, they were tip top. I like how they give direction and make sure you totally understand before letting you go, and the non-fake smile on the face every time our eyes met and they greet us hello. Love the location and the closeness to several major iconic landmarks of the town. The nitti-gritties that went unnoticed. I hated the fact that one of the parquet floor tiles actually got lifted when stepped on in the middle of the night and scratched my toe. No major wound, and I was too tired and totally forgot to highlight at check out. I hated the fact that the distance between the hotel to the closest convenience store has no proper walkway, but that's really the city development issue..... I hated the fact I had to wait 20 minutes for a mere omelette even when it did come out nicely laid out like a main course, but honestly...I just wanted an egg in the morning.... For this part, I really wish you could just have an average egg station like everyone else.... time waiting becomes less obvious when ppl can see the cook cooking. It's a psychological thingy. You could make the omelette smaller to reduce time. Really, when you are half awake, there are things that will become less obvious...

breakfast, the pouch egg was the best ever. im thinking of staying at the same hotel again just to taste the pouch egg again. the room inside is full of stairs, i need to be very careful not to fall down. i prefer if it has been all same level.

The staff helped change our room in the middle of the night (around midnight) to a room without any smell and fumes of varnish, which was irritating to the eyes and skin. The room floor had just been varnished, and perhaps the room SHOULD NOT have been open for guests to stay for a few more days. We were out walking around Melaka during the day, and did not notice the floor varnish volatile fumes until we got back at night.
