Good prime location. Staff behaviour was bad. Service very basic. Room window lock broken. Very basic rooms.

This hotel was in a great location close to the town centre, but that is the only good thing I can say about it. The rest of the experience was terrible Alarm bells were ringing as soon as we arrived at the hotel and found that it was still trading under a previous name and the signs had not been changed. The lady on reception said that she kept telling management, but nothing had been done. The room was absolutely filthy as though it had never been cleaned! There was mould throughout the bathroom and bedroom. The floors were covered in dust and debris from the previous guests so we assume they hadn't even been swept. We spoke to another guest who had the same experience and demanded that they change her room twice as it was so unclean so it wasn't just us.. If you care about even basic levels of hygiene do not stay here!

The hotel location is really good, walking distance to everything that you need to see in Malacca. The room is spacious, beds were comfortable. The common area is really nice. The staff are nice. During nighttime, it is quite noise with loud music from the street, but it was ok with us. The bathroom is a good size, but the shower area is really small, we (including my 8 year old daughter) had to stand at the corner to close the shower door. The toilet paper holder is far from the toilet in our bathroom. There were 2 light switches (next to the bathroom door) in our bedroom had nearly come off. We have reported it to the front desk staff. I am not sure if there was anyone who came and had a look into the issue or not? It was the same condition (nearly come off) until the day that we checked out.

We were greeted with smiles at Sunday Malacca Near Jonker Street Formerly Quayside and our room was ready early. The mattress was supportive and pillows perfect. Appreciated the extra safety chain on the door.

Very few TV channels.

Free parking for entire stay was appreciated. Smoke alarms visible everywhere. View from balcony was worth the room upgrade cost. Really happy with the services provided by the hotel.

Location, location, location! You can’t beat being in the heart of all action and everything one needs to see. Bathroom had a great shower and was clean. The room could’ve have been cleaner (surfaces, specially), but the beds were comfortable and very clean. The front desk stuff did not speak much English, it was difficult to understand the pay only on cash visitor tax and why it was not disclosed. Asked for a receipt that I had paid it, they were unable to provide.

Wow! What an amazing little hotel; rooms are nice and spacious and the staff was just outstanding. We've had issues with Booking.com but they were so helpful and accommodating, they fixed the issue and went above and beyond to help us.

Hotel bersih location

NOTHING I booked this hotel based on pictures and glowing descriptions on booking.com website but it turned out to be a complete let down. We looked at the room (it was like a prison room) and immediately booked another room in another hotel. They refused to refund me for the room but worst of all that they also refused to refund the city and heritage taxes for the 3 days stay. We can't wait to get out of that building. I am not only disappointed with the deceit image the hotel displayed but also with BOOKING.COM for allowing such misinterpretation of product to its clients and this is the only site I have been using for many years.

The hotel offers an excellent strategic location—affordable, comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring Melaka. The reception staff Ms Izzah, were very welcoming, and check-in was quick and stress-free, which set a great tone for the stay. Just outside the entrance is the lively night bazaar (Fri–Sun nights), with the Melaka River Cruise station right next door. It’s also just a short walk to Taming Sari, Dutch Square, and Jonker Street. To complete the experience, the balcony view was absolutely breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.
