Hi View Inn & Suites

We only stayed for one night so we didn't use much of what the place had to offer. Free parking and plenty of space. The room was clean, the beds were ok, the pillowd could have been more comfortable. The person who greeted us was very nice ,friendly and helpful. The fridge door was broken and they just roved it. But the main issue was that the air condition alwyas stoped working and after talking to the staff, they reset it and, it started to work again and showed us how to do it. this kept on going all night, it worked, it stoped, it was hot, rest, working again etc. we were only for 1 night so we coped with it. The shower was ok, small bugs around the drain but we washed them :-)

The fridge did not work.

The dual pane windows and blackout curtains were great at keeping the room dark and quiet for a good night’s sleep. Room was clean, laundromat was a bonus ( we did not use but the machines looked new-ish and clean). Location was great, close to a mall, walkable to restaurants and shopping and the beach.

The bathroom remodel was exceptional. The shower water pressure was poor at 8pm and 8am. Bed was pretty firm and pillows were ok.

Location and cleanliness Nothing

It’s very accessible and clean. It conveniently has a microwave and fridge even in the smaller rooms. There is always enough towels, and staff is very friendly. No complaints.

The location was great. We booked this motel months in advance. Our room (107), in a back building, had no Wi-Fi signal at all, which is an advertised amenity. It doesn't reach that part of the property. After a 30-minute delay dealing with a staffer who said it was his "first day" (who lived there with his dog) we were moved to a different room with no help carrying our things, and missed the sunset we'd been looking forward to. The next day, with no call or notice, we got an email receipt refunding that night's stay. When we called to ask why, staff gave several contradictory explanations — the room was needed for someone else, we "weren't happy" about the Wi-Fi, they "couldn't reach us" — and told us THEY'D PACKED OUR BELONGINGS INTO STORAGE AND RENTED OUR ORIGINAL ROOM, all without telling us. We had to leave our event to scramble for last-minute lodging, ending up spending $90 more and driving over an hour away. Even without this issue, we wouldn’t have returned based on the room’s condition. We wouldn't stay here again. Always read the negative reviews! Booking.com has been no help with this issue at all. They admonished us for not contacting them when this happened! Never again!

Room is clean , just perfect size for 2 persons in one night stay. Plenty of parking.

Exceptional

The property is easy to access and well located for Manhattan Beach. It has lots of free parking and both check in and check out were super easy. Honestly the room was nice and as per the photos, each room also had AC and whilst this was a slightly loud wall unit, it’s certainly cold enough so no complaints there. For the price per night I was very happy, would recommend for anyone looking to watch costs whilst also wanting somewhere well located to stay! The shower was not 100% clean when we arrived and the water pressure was not great but these are pretty minor complaints and overall it’s a very pleasant place to stay!
