This place was great to spend the night before hiking Pikes Peak. My room was very large and very clean. It was quiet and close to town. I would stay here again.

Contactless key entry...no humans to help checkin.

Nicely renovated hotel in a perfect spot. Park and walk anywhere in Manitou or catch the bus to the incline. Great spot, very clean, room smelled good and the manager was very friendly, helpful and caring. Would stay again.

The staff was very helpful

I like the location to the Barr Trail Race that I was doing again. The AC works well. The bathroom is very nice and water pressure is good. Room is plenty big and with microwave. Couch area is a bonus. The bed was very uncomfortable. Bed frame is cheap. Bed frame was obviously already broken. Bedding is garage. Bed is flat. Felt like we were sleeping on the bed frame wood. I have stayed here twice now before a race and both times got terrible sleep because of the bed and bed frame.

Nice that it was contactless, but they should let you know upon booking that you'll get an email with details on how to check into room. Ice machine was out, that should never be the case at a hotel.

The only reason I scored the staff low was because there is really no interaction with them. All check in and check out is done over text and app. I didn't see one staff member while I was there. That's not bad, just no one to rate really.

This was a great room, but two specific problems made the experience so stressful I would never again stay at this location. First, check in was a nightmare. There is no human at the site - everything is completed electronically and the process is cumbersome and doesn’t work. We could not get into our a room without spending hours on the phone with a call center in India. The hotel also had no ice and no other assistance available.

The establishment was reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. There were several breakfast places within several blocks and we were also within several blocks of the Peeks Peak Cog Railroad free shuttle bus. Because registration is automated and there is no receptionist checking you in, I think the establishment needs to provides some suggestions in its emails about visitor information and to provide a link to the Visitor Center website and/or invite folks to open the office door and check out the brochure rack. Not having a receptionist helps reduce the staff costs but still visitors need information. We ended up having to go to the Visitors Center to find out about the shuttle, ect. The system is a little off-putting for folks not used to it.

Comfortable but could use a refresh.

Excellent location, newly renovated and very clean. No interaction whatsoever with a staff member in person, but the system works and the property was very responsive online. I just haven’t used this type of check in or check out before.

Property is in the perfect central location in Manitou Springs. About a mile walk to the Cog Railway or the Manitou incline. Close to all the shops and restaurants.
