Very nice property. Wish we had more time there. The noise on the street was kind of loud. But not a problem inside the room.

Central location. They gave my wife and I a drink as it was her birthday. Cool lighting in hallways and nice bar. Discounted parking deal at local garage ended prior to our stay. Hot tub was a bit cool but still pleasant. They did not have two robes or towels at check in to our room. Luckily cleaning staff corrected the towel situation.

Breakfast staff needs a better understanding of english or I french. My omelette had nothing of what i had asked for. Maybe i got someone else’s. Great variety of foods at breakfast. Rooms could be a touch bigger. Over all our stay was amazing due to the staff. .

We had a beautiful corner room on the top floor with a large L-shaped balcony that overlooked the port and the city. The room was modern, clean and efficiently laid out. The breakfast was good, with lots of fresh fruits, the service excellent and the dining room looked out over the pool area. The location was fine but it was not as close to the city center as I had thought. A taxi was required for any excursion. All European hotels seem to have installed those TERRIBLE make-your-own-coffee machines at the breakfast buffet. The coffee, if you can call it that, is really terrible and all the guests comment on how bad it is. Those same terrible machines were installed in every hotel we visited.

Great location, attentive staff, good breakfast. Lovely pool, jacuzzi & sauna. Near Old Town & church & Jardim du Pharo. Nothing…

Everything was fantastic! And so many little details make for a 10 rating. We got unexpected very early check-in, there were free bottles of water in the room, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and coffee in the cafe was free. The hotel is beautiful, with rotating art exhibits throughout and a fabulous pool and outdoor area. Great location that is quiet and not too close to the madness of the old port but right on a bus line. Recommend this hotel without reservation. Nothing

Perfect location, great service, spacious rooms, clean!

Very clean and comfortable hotel with an attentive staff. The shower and baths were very luxurious and the pool/Nordic baths (sort of similar to a hot tub) were good perks. The breakfast is very big and very good. Location wise, it’s away from the chaos of the Old Port but a short walk to the main metro stop, ferry stop, and all of the “action” of Marseille. The air conditioning worked well! A few blocks away from a laundromat if you need to use one during your travels. No complaints!

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Vieux Port and right across Palace du Pharo. I loved the art pieces displayed around the hotel. It was very stylish and comfortable. The room was also very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was also pretty helpful to fulfill all the questions. We could park the car at the Parking Pharo right next to the hotel, and the reception gave us a discounted rate at the park.

The New Hotel of Marseille - Vieux Port is located perfectly in the city; within a stone’s throw of the Vieux Port, but not directly over it where noise could be a problem. Upon my check in, the kindness, courtesy, and professionalism with which Chloe and Mario greeted me were unrivaled (and during my stay they helped me with restaurant recommendations and anything other questions I had), and this set the tone for what was a most wonderful stay at the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent with abundant selections. The pool looked beautiful and inviting, but I didn’t have time to take advantage of it. My only other regret is that I couldn’t stay there longer than I did. Should I return to Marseille, I’d gladly book a room at New Hotel Marseille - Vieux Port, and I’m happy to recommend this hotel most enthusiastically. N/A
