The staff are superb: professional, helpful, courteous; really great This hotel is a 2-star at best. The shower in my room could not be shut; when you did manage to shut it with enormous effort, you then couldn't turn it on again - from other complaints from folks staying at the hotel same days, this was a recurring issue. The carpet was so old, it was coming off in waves. The doorstops were knocked out. The water was cut for 2 hours....The sauna door could not be opened from the inside (...this is potentially dangerous...), and the shower was so beat-up it was falling off. All in all, a terrible, run-down, sort of awful facility. which is DEFINITELY not 5 star, and 2 star at best. Accor should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for passing off an atrocious facility as 5 star. The only thing which partially saves the place is the staff - all of whom are absolutely superb.

The location was great and the staff member at check in was lovely. Apart from the check in staff and the room staff (who were excellent) the staff were unfriendly and generally disrespectful. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this level. The staff in the bar were especially rude to the point that I felt they laughed with each other when I made a request. I’m not sure they are used to dealing with women of colour.

Great hotel, staff could use some training in terms of customer service and cleanliness

Good location Rooftop bar Rooms are old and half facing a very gloomy backyard full of AC units. Lower level corridors and rooms smelled really bad (like a cave) Carpets looks and feels dirty.

Really helpful and friendly staff, super comfortable beds and nice rooms. Good spa. Showers could have been a bit better, and an outdoor pool would have been nice

The staff was very good. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was very silent. The toiletries were very limited and the liquid toiletries were fixed on the wall (including the body lotion). There could be more choices and small bottles at least for the body lotion. The hotel is a bit far from the main stores and restaurants, you need to walk 15-16 min. Although the room is well decorated, it’s a bit old. The shower leaks outside when you take a shower. The closet doors make noise when you open. It’s pricey.

This is perfectly located on Vieux port! A beautiful hotel! I loved everything.

Excelled location, staff are excellent particularly those working in the breakfast restaurant It was said the hotel has a swimming pool but it turned out has got no one, but the compound contains an other hotel which has a swimming pool, the receptionist can phone the other hotel and allow you to use that swimming pool

The hotel is beautifully presented, clean and tidy with bars, restaurants and great views of the port and famous fortifications. The staff are attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Our bags were collected on arrival and taken to our room, check in was smooth and quick. Our room was well laid out with everything we needed, a comfortable bed, space for our bags and a terrace overlooking the port. Nothing not to like about this hotel.
