The hotel is historic and well maintained. The staff are generally friendly. The highlight for us was breakfast and the associated service. It was amongst the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. All the waiting staff were exceptional: very friendly and efficient. I would particularly like to thank Vivienne for always looking out for a good spot for us and her friendly service. She really helped us in forming a good opinion of the hotel. The room extras could have been better for a four-star hotel: no nuts or biscuits worth talking about.

The hotel has a very calm and inviting atmosphere. A very old and classy hotel in the best location. Staff extremely helpful and professional. Air conditioning was a great asset. Not a thing that I can criticise

The location was just perfect as we had such a lovely view of the Old Port. We were also very close to many restaurants, shops & cafes. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We had issues with an upcoming flight which they helped us with. Breakfast was also a hit with us- good variety & again beautiful views The fridge did not work very well.

The welcoming staff from the moment we arrived! We were greeted by Brenda and a young boy, Liam who was at the hotel doing a work experience. I was so impressed with the way Brenda was guiding and teaching Liam. His check in was the best we have ever had! Thank you! Location was excellent, very central. Nothing
