De Maria House Bed & Breakfast

We loved our stay at De Maria House! The facilities were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was ideal, about 30 minutes from Positano and 20 minutes from Sorrento. What we loved most, though, was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They kindly lent us beach towels, and when we had to leave early one morning and couldn’t make breakfast, they prepared a packed breakfast with sandwiches and cakes for us. Such a thoughtful gesture! We highly recommend De Maria House and would definitely stay there again.

Great and comfortable stay in one of my favourite neighborhoods outskirts Sorrento with a beautiful surroundings. Great value for the area. Car parking, even elevator, AC,WiFi extended breakfast. Host and staff are great people, Its good to understand that it’s not in Sorrento, so excellent when you have a car.

Great view. On a hill. Good for people that want to be away from the business of the Amalfi coast. It’s better if you have a car

It’s beautiful and peaceful, all accommodations where very comfortable. The restaurant serves good food and the breakfast were very satisfying. Cappuccinos were delicious! Not too any fault of the property, public transportation to the property can be a bit of a challenge. Also it would be helpful if the property had washer and dryer, coin operated.

Room was clean and comfortable. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious. We had a private dinner on the patio that was delicious and made us feel very special and pampered. We highly recommend De Maria House There was nothing that we disliked.

Breakfast and the kindness of Yius.

The breakfast was indeed very good. The parking was indeed offered for free. The staff was responsive and helpful. The location is a bit far from the main attractions in the general area (Sorrento, Positano, etc). The elevator is too slow. The windows miss the lean-back function (for room ventillation during the night).

If anyone would love to experience a home like place with full attention towards all your requests while travelling to Sorrento, this is the perfect place you wouldn’t want to miss ♥️ Looking forward to see them again soon ? Nothing noticeable

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms were new, modern, and well-equipped, with a balcony offering a beautiful view. The included breakfast was excellent, with a rich variety of fresh vegetables, eggs, juices, yogurt, cakes, coffee, and more. Dinner was equally impressive — we ordered dishes made locally in the authentic Italian tradition, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

Loved everything from warm Italian hospitality to beautiful views from our balcony, spotless room to home cooking from Nonna in this family run B&B on a hilltop in SantAgata. Included secured parking is perfect. Giusy arranged a boat tour to Capri with pick up and drop off so we could have a stress free day visiting this famous island. We ate 2 delicious dinners with local wine here--also lovingly prepared by Nonna and her daughter. So reasonably priced! Varied yummy breakfast everyday. Also close to the Amalfi coast drove to Positano then boat to Amalfi. So many options including bus stop out front. Wonderful all around.

Nice location with the view, without noisy environment. Bus is available to Sorrento city centre. Much appreciation to the personnel, very kind, provided all the information. We arrived after 20:00, despite that reception was waiting for us. Also parking is available. Everything was good

Surrounded by beautiful nature this family hotel makes you feel at home. Comfortable parking which is so important in an area that parking in not in hand. The hotel offers a good selection of breakfast and is spacious enough to spend evenings at the garden or the terrace. It is just 20 min drive from Sorrento center and the lovely beaches. Maria is kind and helpful, advised us for some good attractions in the area which we followed and enjoyed very much! We loved the hotel and if you have a car then it is highly recommended and a great value for your stay. We loved everything and it a great value for money!

The receptionist was super sweet and helpful. Aunt de maria who was a great host and a better motherly figure, she made sure we got everything vegetarian and she made sure we had plenty to choose from. They provided vegetables, butter, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, bread and juices for us to enjoy. They even gave us a box of gluten-free cookies as we couldn't eat any of the desserts served. When we checked out, she also sent us off with a made sandwich, two pieces of fruit for each of us, which was such a sweet touch. Their fruits are handpicked and are so juicy! The room was neat all the time. The offered room could've been slightly bigger. Important note-we were offered a bigger room in the basement which could've been in a better state, we felt the rooms on the reception floor were better equipped and maintained so we chose the first room.
