Limited lift and huge crowds on lifts before and after every prayer time

The location was perfect, and I could pray five times a day in Masjid Al Haram, which was the key objective of the trip. The reception was on the basement floor, and the guests have to travel a lot to reach the main entrance to take a taxi. In order to call the taxi near the reception, you have to pay 29 Riyals.

All staff were very helpful, the room and the amenities and the proximity to the Haram are all good to have. This is my third time staying there. They never disappoint. Elevators can be busy

The breakfast is good and the rooms are comfortable The lifts are terrible it doesn’t matter if you are close to the haram because you will waiting forever to get to the haram just because the lifts won’t come and when it comes it’s extremely croweded

The staff was not cooperative

2. Location too close to Haram (It seems to be part of Haram yeard). 3. Although the reception was over over over loaded by guests, the low number of receptionists were not sparing any minutes to serve the gustes. I would say an area of improvement :- 1. To increase the number of front desk receptionists to serve the high high high number of guests.

Lift service very bad

As per the booking commitment room was not allocated and has to wait for more than 6 hours to get the room.

Lift is taking long time and need more lift

Staff Breakfast in different tower was anoying Elevators very slow and few

Only location and the reception person and maintenance person and 1 or 2 house keeping guys 1. The lifts were extreme slow 2. Lifts were very hot without fan or AC or exhaust fan 3. Very uncomfortable tower 6 and lifts for my 82 years old mother on wheel chair 4. The two security guards were extreme harsh for no reason. The main entrance for car parking was blocked and we tried to enter from EXIT parking area and again and again the guards were forcing me to go out again from exit and come from entrance which was closed and they were not aware of it . I was with 3 ladies and kids along with my ver old and sick mother but they did not care about it . Extreme disrespectful 5. After all these issues, the parking was also expensive. I paid 260 riyal for only 18 hours. Overall the MAKKAH towers is falling down. We have stayed here almost 6-7 times but this time it was worst experience.

Number of lifts in tower 3 are always crowded

Very nice and clean room, staff are very professional and friendly, really want to thank the reception team on their very good customer service, extremely convenient location. Elevators are a nightmare specially during peak times, very crowded, very long waiting periods to get on the elevators.

Location in Haram Not clean, don’t like to change the bedsheets

We were told we were staying in a newly renovated room, but it lacked basic amenities. On arrival, the room only had three bath towels…there were no hand towels or face towels. The soap dispensers didn’t work properly, and the hand lotion was curdled. We raised these issues with the staff, who said they had escalated them to management. The guests next door smoked throughout our stay, and the smell drifted into our room. Although smoking isn’t allowed, staff said there wasn’t much they could do. The elevators were also extremely slow, with wait times often exceeding seven minutes, and people would push to get on when they finally arrived.

I’ve been here in the past with my classmates and once with family. So over 4 times. This time there some issues that need to be addressed. I don’t like to complain especially since we were in the blessed land of Mecca, however these are things that need to addressed. 1. Check in was at 4. We drove hrs to come and had to wait almost an hr extra for our room…. Giving us our room at 5, Why? If u guys are busy and need more time, communicate. 2. The room cleaning came only once in the span for the 3 days to my relatives room ( we had 2 rooms in the same tower). Despite calling, they never showed up. 3. Elevators here are very bad, which isn’t something that the hotel is to blame for cuz I’m sure other hotels in Mecca have similar issue due to the large crowds.
