Style and service level of a 5 stars properties

The area is lovely, its design is very nice inside the hotel.. Because of you, your app told me that transportation was free, and when I called the hotel, they told me that transportation wasn't included in the reservation and that I had to complain to you, so I had to pay... that's not right.

EVERYTHING!!!

The employees Toilet was clogged, for more than two days had to go to the bathroom lobby! Said it once and when tried to flush same thing, next day we thought toilet was going to be cleaned and fixed, but nothing was done. Security box was reported not working and also nothing done. Breakfast and coffee not good! At night time the hallway lights were totally off when we woke up at 5 am which is very dangerous, in case of an emergency the stairs/hallway can’t be used because all is dark

The hotel was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant on the rooftop (Palma Pitón) was genuinely good. I highly recommend the Massaman Curry. Tap water is good in Medellin, but they offered a machine with hot, cold and bubbling filtered water, which was very nice. The shower temperature fluctuated between uncomfortably cold and too hot without me touching the dial. The toilet lid was loose on one side. The lighting near the mirror was very poor, making shaving difficult. At breakfast the eggs were cold and the arepas stale, despite going up to eat at 8am (not at the end of service). The guacamole was also oversalted. In the room there was nowhere to put the suitcase or sit with a laptop.

The aesthetics.

Cool Vibes, nice room with a nice balcony. Nice rooftop. The breakfast was the worst. We stayed there for four days and we had four terrible breakfasts.

Lighting in room could be better

Breakfast was great on the rooftop. They even brought me a cake, as it was my birthday. Employees paid a lot of attention to us. Special thanks to Maria at the reception desk. Not too thrilled with the curtain dividing the room with the bathroom. I get that it is meant to be a "cool design feature" but still... It is minor overall.

The place is very clean, modern and comfortable with lots of restaurants around. The staff is nice and helpful. We loved the breakfast part : the place (last floor) and offer ( delicious sweet and savory options)

I didn't like anything about the hotel at all, the room was not what I expected for the price, The water pressure in the toilet wasn't working, the jacuzzi light and jets also weren't working, and the service was very bad for the price we paid. Nothing,

The Somos Bold was incredible! The staff was so friendly (and spoke great English) - especially Marian at the front desk and Samuel at the rooftop bar! The location is close to everything I wanted, but still on a quiet, safe street. The rooms are so stylish and the bed was comfortable. The lounge in the lobby and the rooftop restaurant/bar always feel like a party, but I couldn’t hear a thing in my room.

The food was expired and contaminated with fungus. The Department of Health should inspect this establishment, as the food poses a serious health risk. I was shocked, the food was expired and had visible fungus. This should never happen. The place really needs a health inspection.

Great hotel, perfectly located near restaurants in Poblado, the design is cool, staff are friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Thomas, who’s attention to detail was impressive (like remembering how you take your coffee after only one day).
