Beautiful and clean.

Rooms looking to the street were too noisy; motorcycles and cars passing by can be heard during the night, so not recommended for a light sleeper. Some light fixtures did not work; the bathroom light is not enough, and it is too dark. The air conditioning did not work the first night, and I had to call the reception twice to get the invoice 1 week after the stay. I would give it another try, but not impressed so far.

New property with the many touches of hands-on owner management. Central, personable feel. Breakfast menu tending towards sweet and insufficient.

We really enjoyed the size of this newer, boutique hotel. It was well located in a safe area, near many restaurants within walking distance. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. If/when we return to Medellin, we would definitely stay here.

Hidden gem in a superb location. Safe and walkable location to many excellent restaurants, including Michelin star practically next door. New hotel ( opened 7 months ago) with fresh, open modern design and decor. Breakfast was exceptional and staff very friendly and helpful, especially Front Desk ( Andreas). This is a high quality hotel working hard to establish their reputation. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone of discriminating taste. Nothing. Loved our stay. All good ( and for someone who is well travelled and spent 20 years in the hotel business that is high praise!)

This is a hidden gem! First, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly (BIG shoutout to Viviana; we want to adopt her!). The vibe of this hotel is just what we wanted: cool city meets comfortable charm. Great architecture and an open design bring the eternal spring outside, inside. The breakfast is delish and plentiful. On two of the four nights we spent here they prepared a small breakfast to go for us...no problem, just ask! The location in El Poblado is perfect: close to the park, surrounded by excellent restaurants all within walking distance (we are 66 and 69 years old in very good shape) or a quick cab. The walk to/from the Metro is likewise easy and quick (10 minutes). The value of this hotel cannot be beat; we met people staying at a US chain hotel who couldn't match half of the greatness of The Host. Stop reading this and book your stay!! To be honest and fair, the room (which is lovely and has a great feel/vibe) could be a bit larger. We know that is impossible; there are no moveable walls! But, taking the small sofa/loveseat out and replacing it with two smaller format chairs would open things up a bit and provide at least the illusion of extra space. There is also very little space to put clothing if you want to unpack. We figured it out by moving some decorative items around.

Very nice hotel, very clean, great location and very friendly staff.

Breakfast was great. The only issue it was served after 7am. And sometimes you need to have breakfast earlier. So would be better to have an earlier breaklfast. The water fawcett on the bathroom has too much pressure and when you open it you spill the water on yourself. There is no Gym. Corporate travellers need the option to work out. The pricing (without the discounts) should include gym facilities.
