The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. Check-in went smoothly and they were helpful whenever I had questions. The breakfast was disappointing and the cleaning ladies were quite disrespectful. The bathroom was very small, and water leaked from the face basin and under the shower door when closed.

NOT MUCH TO LIKE ABOUT THIS HOTEL! IT'S IN THE NOISIEST PART OF CENTRAL MEDELLIN (LAURELES), WHERE KARAOKE BARS OPEN 24/7. PEOPLE PASSES BY SMOKING AND LOUD TALKING, POLICE CARS PASS-BY WITH LOUD HONKING. I MOVED ROOM TWICE BECAUSE OF THESE NOISES. THEN THE HOTEL WAS AWARE OF FUTURE RENOVATIONS ON GROUND FLOOR, HOTEL KEPT THESE CONSTRUCTIONS INFO TO THE GUESTS UNTIL ITS TOO LATE ON MONDAY TO CHANGE HOTEL. YOU'LL HAVE TO SUFFER HAMMERING/DRILLING/LOUD WORKER NOISE & SMOKING FOR THE NEXT 3-6 MONTHS! I WAS ALSO CHARGED 2-ROOMS, EVEN AFTER BOOKING.COM SUPPORT TO CANCEL THE 1-ROOM MADE IN ERROR! IT'S NOT A GOOD PRICE WITH THE FACILITIES, GO SEARCH AROUND! THE ROOMS ARE VERY VERY SMALL AND BARE, NO CHAIRS, NO NIGHT-LIGHTING! THEY'RE FREE BREAKFAST TASTE LIKE IT COULD BE GIVEN TO THE DOGS! REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE! REVIEW MY NOTES BEFORE YOU RESERVE! PLEASE REFER TO MY NOTES ABOUT! MY PREVIOUS CONFIRMED HOTEL RESERVATION (WHOLE APARTMENT) WAS SOLD BY THE OWNER TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER WITHOUT INFORMING ME. SO I HAVE TO SCRAMBLE TO FIND REPLACEMENT LATE AT NIGHT (AFTER 8-HRS TRAVEL). ROOM PRICE WAS TWICE HIGHER, FACILITIES WERE BARELY WORKING, AND THAT UNBEARABLE NOISES!

Big room, staff at your service and kind. There was construction work ongoing next to (or in the second floor of) the hotel which was really boring.
-
The breakfast was very bad All bad
-
The room was good, shower as well with hot water. The breakfast was very light and same everyday.. During the evening/night, I could hear from my room the karaoke and music coming from outside. The Hotel is situated in a party area. Make sure you have earplugs !!

The hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Housed in a renewed building, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast is excellent, and the location in Laurales is fantastic, close to a supermarket and other amenities, bars, and restaurants. Great service and genuine hospitality. Nothing worth mentioning

Good central location, it’s a hit or miss with checkin, Room cost ~65.000 COP but they want 50.000 COP if you checked in at 1:30pm when 90% of the hotel is empty. Now I see the reason why it’s empty. There are tons of other options nearby with AC for the same price. Front desk staff on the 5th may had no customer service. I had a reservation because I stayed before, but her attitude just turns me away.

The location. The personnal. When a customer ring at the desk and the girl who was working at the reception scream "Im in the bathroom" it's not super nice!

I like very much their terrace and seating there and get pleasure with nice weather in the morning and evening and they have boiler to make some hot coffee 3in1 They provide a breakfast to the travelers but it’s all on the terrace. Terrace is not that big so it’s not that convenient. I decided to have breakfast outside. And the room audibility is very high. Their waitresses are speaking loud in the morning and late in the evening. The room has no windows and air conditioning, but only fan. So it’s a little bit stuffy inside

The location was good, the staff was helpful, and the price was excellent. The first night, we were in a room facing the street. With a fan but no air conditioning, the room was quite warm and needed the window open. But patrons at a bar across the street were singing loudly until about 1 a.m. Then workers started throwing rocks into a dumpster below the window around 4 a.m. When I told hotel staff in the morning, they immediately moved us to an inside room for the second night. But that room was also hot and stuffy. Maybe it was exceptionally warm in Medellin those nights, but I think the hotel needs to consider air conditioning.

The room is nice and spacious, and the staff were lovely. Location is good if you want to try out Laureles. Good value for money. Can’t think if anything.
